Hi, I do not have the answers to your questions, but from the insert am giving you the contact info that should give what you want. Biocodex. 1250 Bayhill Dr. Suite 200. San Bruno, Ca 94066. 877-356-7787. Www.florastor.com and
Info@biocodexusa.com. The insert says please contact them with medical questions.
I do not have any of the issues in your question, and my doctor told me to use this product it was the only one he recommended to his patients. Very expensive in the stores, on line much better. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes and seems to work extremely well for people who are lactose intolerant.

I am a paraplegic, prone to occasional infections that require me to take antibiotics. I take Florastor when I am on an antibiotic, to keep my digestive system running properly. It works far better than anything else I've tried. The good thing about it is that you can take it at the same time you take an antibiotic, unlike bacteria-based probiotics, which you have to take sometime after you take an antibiotic. I do not take Florastor on a regular basis, as I have no need to do so. I suggest you go to the web site for the product; they give a good, detailed explanation of what it contains and how it works there. see less
