Is this a good running shoe or meant more for daily, casual use?

I would say more walking and casual, then running. Very comfortable and they look great too!

I am not a runner. It's a good shoe for cross training and casual/ work wear.

I know this is an old question but I have been using mine for off trail running and jogging. The memory foam helps my feet not be sore like other shoes can after running/jogging for an hour at a time. They are also holding up well which is why I am here today looking to get a spare pair for when my older ones die.

I often wonder about the buyer who loads photos of a shoe that appears to have been worn through the Bataan Death March during WWII. I suspect these buyers are wearing the shoe EVERYDAY, for every purpose and never changing to another shoe. Anyone?

I'm using the shoes for every day use but they definitely look as though good for running. Doesn't help you much but wanted to share as the soles seem very sturdy.

These shoes would be great running shoes, light weight, gripping out-soles and memory foam insoles!!!

I'm getting ready to purchase my third pair. They're a little heavier than your average running shoe, but I've logged serious mileage on them on mixed terrain. Be sure to get the correct size, though, as they break down quickly if you purchase them even a half size too big.
