The audio quality (via Pandora on both iPhone and laptop) is really pretty good as long as Active Noise Cancellation is *NOT* enabled. Once enabled, the audio becomes very pinched with almost no low end and a muffled high end. So I use the mostly without noise cancellation and they work fine for the price I paid.
My husband is very impressed by these, which he bought to wear while on the riding lawnmower. He has others that cost more but he raves about these, especially for the price. They also look very nice , as well.
The sound quality is mediocre or tolerable at best. Everything sounds like it's in a tunnel. The volume is decent but the quality of the sound is not good. An inexpensive set of earbuds sound better for much less cost. The noise-cancelling feature doesn't do anything.
I have had MANY headphones over the years and a rash of noise canceling, ear surround units like the E7 and for the price, I have not found anything that compares. I regularly use my friend's Bose, which are fabulous, but also start at 300$. I can outfit my family with the E7 for the same money.
The sound quality is very good imho (in my honest opinion). Customer service with Cowin has been stellar, so I'd say "buy with confidence".
My husband is an audiophile with hearing loss caused by playing in a band for over 15 years. He has hearing aids on every day and all day. He loves these headphones, he says the music has "richer tones" than any other wireless headset he has owned.
