Bought the mesh wifi ext (EX7500) and it keeps causing my wifi to keep dropping periodically for seconds at a time. Anyone else have this issue?

I had a similar problem, where my Smart TV would intermittently loose the WiFi connection. Initially, I thought the TV app was problematic, but it turned out to be that my extender settings weren't congruent with router.. What are those settings? I left that to a California based company that supports Netgear products.
