Does it have a hot water cycle or can it only brew coffee?

As long as you dont put a coffee k-cup in the machine then it will dispense hot water, BUT if you use it for coffee allot then the water tastes like coffee. I recommend getting a second attachment that you switch out for water or if you just want hot water, get a hot shot.

Even brewers w/ a 'Water cycle' do nothing different. Tastes like coffee until you run just water 2-4x. I worked for Keurig for 4 years.

Yes you can use it for hot water. It’s easy, just remove the k-cup attachment, rinse it clear and then put back and the water will be just water.
