Has anyone used this nas with plex?

I use it all the time. But I set the server to Directplay. I use a netgear X4s router which I connect via ethernet to my samsung 4k Js8500 TV. I have no prob streaming 4K HDR video this way. The plex app on the samsung TV supports HVEC , X265 and VP9 decoding so there is very little work for the NAS to do itself… see more I use it all the time. But I set the server to Directplay. If you plan on streaming to lots of phones/tablets or older blu ray players that don't have good codec support then I'd advise you to do your encoding for those devices on your computer and then let the NAS stream natively. see less I use it all the time.
