Love this towel

Love this towel. I did the wash/claybar/compound/polish/wax routine for my F150 this weekend. This was used in the drying after the wash and it worked great. No lint, held a lot of water and didn't leave a lot of streaks. I usually grab two towels and start the rotation of using one for heavy drying and a second for the final wipe. When the first gets soaked, use the second as the first and rotate in a fresh second towel. I can go through 8 small towels drying my truck. These towels were a little larger and were able to dry the majority of my truck with just these two towels and one additional small towel. Much easier. They are the perfect size and hold a lot of water.

Wasted money! They seperated at the seam!

They were soft when I got them out of the package and appeared they might have even worked for my new car if they wouldn’t have came apart before I even got to use them. I washed them before I used them. Used the delicate cycle and only used a tiny bit of soap but when I got them out of the washer I noticed 2 out of the six I bought had seperated at the seam, and since they’ve been washed I doubt I could send them back.

As the title states - this is just a better version of the original absorber. Both are not great for drying cars on their own - but do a good job of getting most of the moisture off so you can finish drying with a towel. It is much larger, so you don't have to wring it out every few wipes. I can get about halfway through a small SUV before having to spin it out, compared to the absorber that gets wrung out every other pass.
If you use this and only this, you will have the fine spots/streaks that are left behind. The average person probably won't care, but if you're critical with how you take care of your car then make sure you use a towel immediately after this - especially on windows and mirrors!

These are awesome. I grew up using a chamois to dry cars, but that method is now out of date and it's easy to see why. These towels absorb a lot of water, ring out fairly well and clean up very well is the washer (be sure you don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets with them - and only wash with other microfiber stuff). I usually drive my car around a block to get rid of most of the loose water first, then I can do the rest with a single towel. It doesn't get caught on sharp objects (like windshield wipers) as easily as others I've used, though it does happen. I also like how the edges are wrapped so rogue fibers don't hang out. Awesome towels and I will buy more when I need to replace them.

Seldom do I review, but when I find a stellar product I gotta give kudos. I have been detailing for 50 years, many of those professionally. starting with cotton toweling, then real chamois, then synthetic chamois. And let me tell you: these and a silicone 12" water blade are the best way to dry a car ( okay, so I don't blow it dry). With the blade first, just 1 of these does the job ,even on a large SUV. No streaks, no lint, no scratches . And much faster. Did I mention no lint? Still advise using cotton toweling on wheels and wheel arches to keep these clean. BTW, launder and dry warm, not hot, just like other microfibers. Enjoy!

If you wash your vehicle yourself, get these towels!!
Even though i have microfiber towels, I ordered these towels specifically to dry my car, because they are the special waffle style that absorb and hold a ton of H2O. I was so excited and used these the very day they arrived. I had bought a new car and wanted to self wash. I knew i needed the right towels to dry my car with. What’s special about them? They are plush (not too thick, but the waffle texture does make it feel thicker than a regular microfiber towel), large, and WORK!!
I used two towels to dry my sedan. I know some people can probably use one, but I did not use any kind of a blower or squeegee type product to first remove excess water off the car. Using two towels and wringing them out was fine by me.
The towels dried the car well, didn’t leave streaks, and didn’t leave lint. I’ve never used a better towel to dry my car, but I’ve probably not been buying the right stuff. I love these!!!!

I purchased this set of towels to dry out my inflatable kayak. Didn't have the opportunity to do that yet, but I now know it was a perfect purchase for that need. Getting in and drying out the inside of a flattened kayak is tricky, but I know these towels will absorb quickly and easily.
Just washed my car and being able to wipe down first with one towel and come back with the second to avoid any spotting, was fantastic. I had used a large red microfiber towel and it just became soppy. This set of towels is one of those very satisfying purchases!

I just bought a new car, and I was taking my car over to my friend's house to wash it on the weekends. Since then I bought a pressure washer to was my car at my own house. He also suggested I purchase some "waffle" towels to dry my car as that is what he uses.
I can't believe how much water these soak up, and hold, and keeps hard water stains from forming on my car. I've owned a few different towels over the years, but none have worked as well as these do. I can easily wash 2 vehicles and use the same towel to dry off both vehicles.

I haven't had a chance to use these towels yet but one was unraveling at the edge.It seemed to be mis sewned and the thread was coming loose.I'm sure it will get worse over time or after the first washing.The second towel appeared to be ok.I will update after I use the towels.
Update:I had a chance to use the towel and it works very well.Also the seller is replacing the towel with the frayed edge.I will say the customer service is outstanding.I wish all sellers valued their customers as much as this one does.

Just what I was looking for, this towel is just big enough to use with two hands but not so large that it becomes troublesome to manuvuer around. Soaks up water with ease. I've only laundered it once but appears to be a well made towel. Haven't noticed any scratches or swirling from using this towel either. Great on body panels and glass. Would definitely recommend.

Even though I read the dimensions I was still pleasantly surprised at the generous size. What I love most, though, is how crazy absorbent these towels are. I use them to dry the dogs after coming in from the snow/rain and for spills and such, but the big bonus I discovered is that it quickly absorbs most of the water from my sweatshirt cuff bands when I accidentally dunk them. It seemed I was always having to change my shirt...but no more. I keep one of the towels on a hook in the laundry room and squeeze the area that I splashed between the towel a couple times. I don't even have to take the shirt off. Awesome!

I just bought this item to detail my car. After washing them in preparation for their first use, I noticed one of them is already fraying a bit. I am not sure if this was a manufacturer's defect or caused by being put in the wash, but I am not very confident about how durable these will be.
Update:
After using them once and washing them again, I noticed a seam on one of the towels is separating from the towel itself. I am returning these and removing another star.
