Warning about fiberglass
Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019
Pros: Was comfortable, initially.
Cons: This mattress, like most memory foam mattresses, comes with a cover that contains fiberglass. Generally if you don't take the cover off (and definitely don't wash it) it'll be fine. This mattress, however, I've had for only 8 months, have never taken the cover off, and yet the fiberglass has started breaking down and coming through the bedding.
The fiberglass shards are extremely tiny particles that are nearly invisible to the naked eye. They are highly irritating to the skin and will make you itch like crazy. They can easily become airborne, causing respiratory issues and moving to other surfaces (like all my clothing). And they become embedded into fabric, making it pratically impossible to remove the fiberglass even with constant washing and lint rollers. The best way I've found to see the shards is using my camera's flashlight and even then it's difficult to keep them illuminated.
I've had to throw away all my bedding and a good amount of clothing that was just coated in fiberglass. It really should be illegal to use fiberglass in products like this.
