Ideal for updating OS drive in older PCs

I'm attaching CrystalDiskMark - decent performance for the current price of $21. Won't outperform high-end SSDs, but then it costs a lot less..
Question for manufacturer: I'd like to put one on an early SATA II PC (used daily), that does NOT have AHCI (and hence no native TRIM support). I understand that it will be throttled to <300 MB/s but I am concerned with further loss to performance and reliability over time due to lack of TRIM NCQ etc
