Disappointed in product, very disappointed in customer service

Product should be 4-5 stars like most of the reviews. However the case I received was clearly defective. I could barely and I mean BARELY open it. I tried lots of methods to pry this thing open- variety of hand grips, squeezing and applying pressure from multiple angles, even using a screwdriver like it was a paint can.
I could open mine, but man it was a struggle- some of the plastic clearly wasn't molded properly.
After 20 minutes of continually closing and battling to re-open, I finally just left the case open settling to the idea that was only way to avoid the hassle. Then I realized that was unsatisfactory and reluctantly reached out to the vendor.
When I explained the issue to VKO, my concerns were dismissed and I was even mildly insulted. The exact quote "we're sure it's not defective product. We think you don't find how to open it safely"
I own other VKO SD card cases and have been very pleased. This case seems very good also (likely 4 stars but possibly 5) so I was very disappointed in had the severe opening defect. Instead of aiding a customer with a genuine complaint, I was instructed to return the item.
For a $9 item, it's a lot of wasted time and effort, on top of the replies that I am opening a plastic case wrong.
You may be fortunate and get a working case. If so, it should serve your needs well. If not, be prepared for little to no understanding from VKO customer service and incur the cost of your time returning a $9 defective item
