I really enjoyed the book. All the characters are engaging and well developed. I also like the faith avenues in the book. It’s nice to have a CIA adventure book that thrilling to read without foul language and sex.
I liked the story and the queue of the final steps of the characters. I hope that the next book has a retirement plan for Titus Ray. He has a family, needs a baby and hopefully will play a home role he needs to retire. If not a home role then a new job that he can be with his family but solve crimes. Ben Mitchell needs to move on and become a bigger player in the CIA. I like the characters but it should be winding down. New stories , new people.
While it was not the most action packed in the series, it certainly had the human interest in it as the reader got to knows the main characters better. Even his boss showed a compassionate side in his wedding gift to Titus and Nikki.
I enjoyed the book. However it was a bit disappointing. The reactions of Nikki were not realistic. Most brides would be upset to have there honeymoon disrupted by work. I dont care how important the work was. She wasn't even upset which to me took away from her character. Other than that I thought the book was very good
