Amazon.com: Customer reviews: 5 Modes Electric Toothbrush Sonic Rechargeable Toothbrushes for Teens, Adults and People with Braces,Teeth whitening toothbrush, Waterproof USB Toothbrush with Smart Timer and 4 Brush Heads, Black
As a previous owner of a Sonicare rechargeable toothbrush, I am very impressed by the performance of this toothbrush. It lasts a very long time between charges, which is a very important issue (including charging time). Another is the minimal care for the toothbrush, as the supporting base of the rotating head does not get dirty at all. Granted, I do unscrew it every other day.
After a bit longer of a month owning this product, I am very happy for its price point (about $20), its bad-ass black color, and general utility. I'd highly recommend it!
The toothbrush is very effective and cleans thoroughly. I use the whitening and polish settings. The brush heads may be a little hard for some, they work for me. The small triangular attachment works GREAT for the stains in between molars that are hard to reach. The charge DOES last for couple of weeks. For the price, this toothbrush is better than my waterpik sonic toothbrush. It is light and all-plastic and may not last, but for $15 you can afford to buy one every year or every other year. My Waterpik sonic costed $60 and lasted two years too so I would never go back to that!
My only real gripe is the seller wasn't completely clear about not including a charger in the description. Only the USB cord is included. You have to read entire ad to find out its not included so I had to buy a charger before I could use it. I was in a hurry, my sonic brush died. it was one of those quick buy offers. I've never bought anything that was rechargeable without it coming with everything you need to charge it up. They assume (you know what they say about that) you have a charger you can use from other electronics. I did not. Assumption failed. Other than that I have no complaints. It works as its supposed to. First tooth brush I bought with multiple functions. Only tried a couple so far but found them useful. I just got it so I can't attest to longevity quality or battery life span. Also I need to go back and check but I didn't notice if you could buy with soft/medium/hard brushes or if you can buy replacement brushes. I also need to see if other manufacturers brushes will work.
This is hands down the BEST toothbrush I have ever owned. The sensitive setting is perfect for me. Found my forever toothbrush!
UPDATE: 4 months later, this toothbrush did hit a small snag. One morning I tried to turn it on and it would not work. I put it on the charger for a few minutes and it did turn on, but would not turn off until the 2 minute timer ended. Also, the piece that the head attaches to broke off exposing a cord, so I had to throw it away. I still love this toothbrush so much though, so I have ordered another one.
I bought this toothbrush for my husband after he left his electric oral-b on a road trip. The first time he used it he said "it feels like I have a bee in my mouth". I tried it out and understood what he meant. It tickles your mouth and doesn't do much to give your teeth a clean feeling like I get from my oral-b. I think the bristles are way too soft and instead of rotating, the head just vibrates. It doesn't quite tackle plaque like other brands. Holds a great charge and looks great. Update: since writing a review, the seller reached out and offered me a refund or to send me a different model of toothbrush for free. They followed through quickly. Because of great customer service I have changed my review to 5 stars. They went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer.
I have used this for the past 2 month's and even took it on vacation to Kauai. It works great, and cleans my teeth the same if not better than my old Philips Sonic brush, and my Oral B 5000 brush. I have not charged it in over a week, and it still is going strong. It is very light weight, and easy to clean. I prefer this over the others, but that is just my opinion. My sonic brush from philips lasted less than a year, and i paid quite a bit more for it, and the brushes cost much more as well.
The button on my very expensive electric toothbrush doesn't want to work all the time anymore. Tired of spending tons of money on electric toothbrushes just to have them fail after a year or so, and tired of the very high replacement head costs, decided to give this one a shot. Tried it out today and very happy. It feels just as sturdy as the pricey competitors. Comes with a bonus bristle inter-dental head which I love. I have a hard time getting behind my lower front teeth and this little tool is definitely going to become part of my daily routine. I think that's how they get you, lol.
I can't comment on durability yet, but for the price how can you go wrong?
This toothbrush is hands down the best for the money. I’ve had it for a few months now.
Things I like: -Long Battery Life: I’ve owned for a few months and old have charged once - Strong: Truly powerful. Comparable to very pricey models. - Versatility: 5 very different modes. - Value: low cost, and comes with replacement heads in box. Plus, 4-5 replacements will cost you around $10 in the future.
I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about this. I liked it so much that now my husband and kids have them too. Our dentist said that he can tell the difference in our kids oral hygiene. Plus they love using them! (They’re 7 &9)
This is a wonderful toothbrush. So lightweight, with oodles of extra features! It's easily half the weight of my plain jane Sonicare. I wish I'd found this before the Sonicare and it's stupid pricey replacement heads.
Love this toothbrush! Not only is it under $20, but I already got compliments for it! People say it looks very expensive and to be honest it feel like it is! The packaging is nice and so are the features. Highly recommend buying this!
