Amazon.com: Customer reviews: 5 Modes Electric Toothbrush Sonic Rechargeable Toothbrushes for Teens, Adults and People with Braces,Teeth whitening toothbrush, Waterproof USB Toothbrush with Smart Timer and 4 Brush Heads, Black
It does not have the power of my older Sonicare but surprisingly gets between my teeth more clean. I have noticed my gums are growing back where reseeded and almost nothing pulled out while flossing compared to before. It is smaller handle and lighter weight too. I love it. I can afford to buy new heads more often too. I even purchased one for my wife and she likes hers.
The toothbrush, at this point, (6 weeks of using it daily and heavily), seems quite amazing and ESPECIALLY for 1. the price and then the additional 2. small profile and 3. usb charging, meaning it's 4. EASILY portable and can be taken, easily, on camping or backpacking trips. (the charge seems to last a long time so, while i'm not reading the specs right now, on significant trips one would not need to recharge and then a simple small power supply like used for one's iphone etc. would work, or obviously a small solar charger).
I am used to the highly regarded and National Institute of Health tested, Philips Sonicare which I've used since they were introduced. So that's my base of comparison.
The one thing I would be curious about is any "peer reviewed articles", simply meaning scientific reviews done on this unit, as I believe the NIH (National Institute of Health, a government organization) in fact as comparative scientific studies they've done on the Philips Sonicare and other competitors.
Therefore, the one thing I cannot speak about is if the unit is super healthy over long use, as opposed to being too abrasive, or too soft, or some other variable. Please note: I'm just mentioning it doesn't have the benefit of decades of clinical testing. There is NO reason to assume it is too abrasive (they provide extra brush heads including a soft version, "free" meaning part of the price of the unit, whereas buying extra brush heads for a Sonicare can be as expensive as the unit itself, (their entry level unit).
In the meantime though, and because I am often very poor, this unit has SAVED THE DAY!
Also, should I get another Sonicare, this unit can then be both a back up for camping or traveling (hotel use etc.), or the body cleaned and sanitized with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, and the (amazingly generously provided) extra brush heads (or one of them), can be put on the toothbrush and it makes a great "Guest Toothbrush" should one have a guest who forgot their toothbrush.
In all cases I love the unit, it was/is a "life saver" or a "tooth saver", as my Sonicare had finally died of old age, 🙂 and I did not have enough to buy a new one.
Fairywill Electric Toothbrush I received this electric toothbrush free in exchange for an honest opinion. I have been using an Oral-b electric toothbrush for a couple of years so I will be comparing the Fairywill toothbrush to it. The toothbrush came nicely packaged in a sturdy box. The package contained the electric rechargeable toothbrush, USB charger, three brush heads, one slim polishing head, plastic brush head cover, instruction booklet. Pros: Slim, lightweight and easy to hold. Does not have a rubber grip, but that doesn't bother me. Multiple modes: white, clean, sensitive, polish and massage. There wasn't a lot of difference between white, clean and sensitive. Polish and massage have a pulsing rhythm Two minute timer with 30 second reminders so you know how long you have been brushing. Only has to be charged once a month versus once a week with my Oral-b. Has an indicator light to let you know it needs to be charged. All of my kids like to use it. The Oral-b was too powerful for my son. Looks nice with a sleek black design and a metallic gold trimmed power button.
Cons: Not as powerful as the Oral-b. I prefer the power of the Oral-b. Ideally there would be a more powerful mode for me and a sensitive mode for my son. Charger plugs into the bottom of the toothbrush, so it has to lay down while you're charging it; not a big deal because it only has to be changed once a month. Does not plug directly into the wall, must use a USB adapter, could be a pro if you travel internationally.
I will continue to use the Fairywill Electric Toothbrush because it is convenient and all of my kids like it. It will be nice when we go on vacation and don't have to take a charger with us.
Pros: effective, easy to use, affordable, very long battery life. The USB charger makes it very easy to travel internationally with, but the long battery life means it may not even be necessary to charge it during shorter trips.
Cons: while it is effective, I don’t think it cleans quite as well as the major brands such as Sonicare. It also doesn’t feel super sturdy, I think if I were to drop it on a bathroom floor once, it would break.
I will probably keep this toothbrush to travel with, due to the USB charger. However, I think I will replace my old Sonicare toothbrush to use at home, as I do think it cleans better than this one. Still, this one is way better at cleaning than a manual toothbrush, so if you are looking for a more affordable alternative to the name brands, this is a good option.
Very powerful vibration motion for a $15 product. The toothbrush head seems small but maybe that's because I'm use to a bigger head toothbrush. It does leave your mouth feeling clean and has multiple settings.Im not sure if its suppose to turn off in it's own or if it's my hand accidentally hitting the off button. It is a great product for the money and if you are tired of changing batteries out.
This actually works. There is a remarkable noticeable difference in how white my teeth are. And I was quite fanatical before. I am 43 with no cavities. I love the timer feature, and different modes. I recommend parents get it for their teenagers. Watch them use it till it becomes a habit. You will save on dentist bills in the long run. Oh and if they ever need a filling don't get the silver fillings. Over time they expand and contract allowing decay to get underneath and unfortunately you can't tell until it hits your root and need a root canal... Spent the extra 16.00 and get the white composite filling. It bonds to your teeth so decay can't get underneath. If you can't take care of your teeth you can't take care of yourself or anyone else. It's the most basic of hygeine. Meth mouth only has one cause... You don't have to show the world what an idiot you are just brush your damn teeth or find another way to do it . I'd suggest stopping but if losing your teeth wasn't enough if a deterrent you are just a lost cause. Once upon a time freaks like that only worked at carnivals now it's main stream society. Apparently being white trash became trendy. But if you manage to have a sense if self respect and class get this toothbrush you will love it.
I have own this tooth brush now for several weeks, waited to do the review until I’ve put it to work several weeks in. I’ve only had to charge it once so far and it’s been over 2 weeks now and this thing still has plenty of power. Really loving this brush specially for travel. Can last for weeks at a time, and charging does does not take all day to full charge. My mouth feels a lot cleaner and teeth feels amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone who’s in the market for a great electric toothbrush.
So far this toothbrush works surprisingly well, especially considering the reasonable pricing. I've always had dental issues and have chased many different products, but this toothbrush makes my teeth, gums, and mouth feel clean and refreshed. I'll see what the periodontist has to say in another 2 months, but so far my teeth look, and feel, much cleaner. It's so easy and such a pleasure to use that it seems as if the 2 minutes go by too fast! I'll update once I've used it longer as to how it holds up under constant use, but right now I am very happy with this purchase!
This is probably the cheapest in the market. I bought one for myself, and use it for 4 months and end up buying another 3 for my kids and wife. They are using oral B and it is not working after just 3 months. We brought it to overseas and somehow the adaptor no longer works. The fairywill electric toothbrush is very solid built, with 5 different modes to suit your needs. the battery is very lasting. Easily last you for 3 weeks before new charge is required. The only downside is thay it is very strong. , vibration is may be too powerful and a little noisy. Those are small downside compare to the value it brings. So, i am happy to recommend to anyone who wants to try new brand or just changing from manual toothbrush to electric one.
This is by far the best electric toothbrush I have ever had and far exceeded my expectations. Multiple settings, including massage, whitening, cleaning, etc allow a variety of uses with the brush. Partially charged upon receipt, brush cover included, as well as 2 additional interchangeable heads and an interdental head. I have one for home and just ordered another for travel. Sleek design and size make it functional and a bit stylish for a toothbrush.
