If you are like me, you have read plenty of self-help books. So, I think it's fair to say that I know a bit about motivation, etc. However, I'm also a believer in repetition to get better. "Success Is Inevitable" not only re-enforced points I had learned before but also, there were interesting thoughts that allowed me to see success in a new way.
The book is very easy to read. I read it like a recipe book; eager to take each piece and put it to work. I did the Action Steps. I got a new journal book and started right in. I made it homework. If there was a spot that I got hung up on, I left myself plenty of blank room in my book and moved on to the next part. It didn't take long for me to come back and finish that part because I let it rest. Plus, continuing on along with the book, I wanted to see what I'd build up to by the end. I was writing my primer for my own success.
Only one part of the book was stale to me and, that was the part about SMART goals. That's been around for many, many decades. However, if you are not familiar with SMART goals, well, you need to get this action step down! For me, I've done it over and over. So, it was quite easy to move along on that section of the book.
My favorite chapter is "The Law Of Intent". It's short enough for me to read every Sunday night as a reminder of how I want my week to go. Naturally, I want it to go well but, I want it to be better than well. Putting my mind on intent sets me on the right path; success!
I'm ending with sharing with you what I got overall from this book and that's 'be a role model for yourself.' I know what my success standards are and I keep them in the forefront of my thinking at all times. Checking back on the answers and the life patterns I have created in my journal make this easier than just thinking about them in my mind every once in a while. This is the power of repetition for me; a regular person wanting to do her best, feel her best and act my best every day to create my inevitable success.
(This book was provided to me for my honest review.)
I am convinced now that success is inevitable for me, it will happen no matter what... The tips on this book are highly actionable, and not overwhelming, I gave me the right direction... I highly recommend this book!
This book is simply amazing... i have hundreds of self help books over the years - once in a while i come across a book that really can someone's life.. this is one of those books.. i really wish everyone could read this book. the world would be a much better place
I enjoy the book. In short, it was a good compilation of several well described concepts relate to success that were well sumarized. But if someone is looking for more detailed explanation of the concepts presented it needs to go the original sources. There are not novel or unique ideas explored in the book.
