Love this book. I only wish it included a Civil Procedure chapter. Contract s, Criminal, Criminal procedure, Property, Torts, Evidence, and Con. Law. The majority of the rules always asked on the MBE. Organized by topic, you can use these ready made rules to memorize for the essays too. Its a win win situation at a great price.
I haven't read the entire book yet, but I skimmed it the day I received it in the mail. However, just from skimming it, I am happy I ordered this book. It will make preparing for the bar exam less painful than using these commercial courses (Barbri for example). I am happy with my purchase.
Passed the bar and thanks to this book I felt prepared. I used the book as a reference while in law school and then read it cover to cover a few times to be familiar with the governing law. A high score on multistate is essential to passing the bar and I was prepared. The connect is organized well and covers the important principles I needed on the bar. I did not pay for an expensive prep course (nothing wrong with these just not in my budget after my student debt). I felt as well prepared as my friends with whom that formed a study group as they bar prep took classes. The study group was key to allow me to apply what I was learning and internalizing from my independent studying.
This book is great for review of the concepts tested on the bar exam. I read it a few times -- starting in law school -- to be sure to understand the principles of the topics tested. Really helped me learn and feel comfortable going into the exam. Helped me learn more law as a student and a bar exam test taker. Well worth the money and time invested..
Very clear streamlined outline of the major legal concepts of governing law for the MBE. It helped me review and refresh the concepts that were covered in class and clarify some items that were not very clear. I can highly recommend it for the MBE review.
Recently sworn in to practice law and I know this book helped me pass the bar. Great resource to be sure you can do well with the MBE portion of the exam. Questions and ex[explanations helped me be more effective on the essay portion as well since I had a great understanding of the principles as covered in this book.
The book does a great job on substantive law tested on the MBE. I passed the Feb bar on the first try and I credit this book with ensuring that I knew the concepts. I know that I would not have been nearly prepared if I did not spend time learning the concepts in the book. It was a much better value than an overpriced commercial bar prep class. This book has what is needed for the bar.
