I can’t even express this enough, I love this book! Being a mother, a wife, sister, friend, daughter, and etc. this book speaks volumes of the God given dreams into my life and to pause, reflect, and to be encourage. I highly recommend this book!
What a wonderful book about finding and discovering dreams and following what God is putting in your heart. It's a very encouraging uplifting read. Ms. Bluhm has an easy to read writing style full of personal stories. She is relatable. I did wish there was more scripture. When talking about dreams God must be at the forefront and I felt like there could have been a better balance of scripture and commentary. I did love the study guide book and wish there was a hybrid. Two books in one type deal... that would make it more powerful and easier to walk through if everything was in one book. It's a great starting point to work through dreams for sure. Great for teens, young women, new believers, and those who aren't sure where they feel God leading them. I received a copy of these books from the author as part of the launch team. I was under no compulsion to write a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
What a thoughtfully written and encouraging book! She Dreams reads like a conversation at a coffee shop with a good friend. Bluhm encourages the reader to pursue their dreams, but first and foremost to pursue the Dream Giver — God. Bluhm regularly weaves the Word into the book, reminding me that as God works in my heart and I pursue him above all, his dreams become mine.
I find it all too easy to judge a book by its cover. (So the fact that this one highlights my favorite color and makes me think of the beach is promising.) I never would have imagined the author’s story to be what it is, and am amazed at how God brought beauty from ashes — repeatedly.
As a fellow PNW girl, I particularly enjoyed the occasional Seattle references! (Can I run down to Tacoma for a cup of coffee?)
I received a copy of She Reads from Read With Audra / Audra Jennings PR. All opinions are my own.
I received this book on my Kindle for the purpose of review.
As I began this book I was honestly resistant to continue reading it. However, as I purposed to get through at least one chapter, I found her thought processes and suggested actions to be quite practical and helpful.
I agree with her principle of moving forward with your dream and never give up, which is That is easier said than done but I do believe in finishing what you start. So, in that respect I can certainly readily endorse this book. Good read, very practical and I would especially recommend it to anyone at any age but would strongly suggest it be read by a college student and above.
I myself was prompted to move forward with my own dream even though late in life.
In her book, She Dreams, Tiffany Bluhm talks about the dreams that God has placed in our hearts. Throughout her book, she shares personal stories of how she has pursued the God-sized dreams that she has and how she worked through hindrances to those dreams. Overall, this is an encouraging book that inspires readers to follow their dreams.
