Once I started I couldn’t stop. The characters became so real that I found myself in the story. It was like I was hearing the characters talking and I was nervous when they were nervous. I like this author and she didn’t disappoint. Read this book! You won’t be able to put it down either.
A decent read but crikey weren't they slow to find the motive. It really was too obvious even if it took a bit longer to find the culprit. A interesting take on how we view the world but very similar to the auras surrounding people. The characters are good but lacking in depth at the moment. Hopefully that will improve with further books. She sees the world in far more colour than the average person and the last customer visiting the shop she runs with her sister was a new experience. The woman was coloured in red - from the top of her head to the toes of her shoes. But seeing her knocked down in a hit and run was horrific and then the black car sped away. The only problem is all the eye witnesses say the car was white or cream. What is happening? As she tries to come to gripes with it she cannot help but ask questions. Everyone states that the dead woman was a tragic loss but why was she here in this small town? Can she and her sister find out more? How can she use this new spin on how she views things? Will helping the police get the driver?
