I bought this screen protector mostly to keep from getting the screen messed up with finger prints. It's okay, but I can't seem to get all the bubbles out of it. They don't interfere with reading or games, but it's an annoyance to me because I'm too picky. But it does what I wanted it to do and keeps the screen clean
Don't waste your money. Buy a tempered glass ones instead. I followed the directions to the letter. Wore rubber gloves and applied to an extremely clean screen. The problem is that these are plastic and the protective film induces static when you remove it. This of course attracts ANY particles in the air. Besides that the edges don't lay down.
I was not impressed with this product. Even when installing on a completely clean screen, many bubbles were present, some of them obnoxiously large. The largest bubble was towards the bottom, which interfered with navigation on the tablet. I promptly removed the protector and bought a tempered glass protector, which I very much recommend over this plastic product.
The screen protector comes with no placement jig and is cut to the exact measurement of the screen, so it is VERY, VERY difficult to mount. It took me 20 minutes to get it correctly aligned and as a result of the trial and error, several dust specks got trapped underneath.
The screen protector does its job as far as offering privacy. Passersby cannot see what I am working on. HOWEVER, the adhesive strips on the edge are worthless. The protector keeps "unsticking" and falling off. I wish I knew how to solve this problem and the manufacturer needs to address it.
The product seemed simple enough to apply, but there is only one chance to put it on correctly. I cleaned off our screen and peeled off the first layer of the protector, and by the time it could be put on the tablet there was dirt and hair on the film. Trying to get any of that off the film ruins it and causes air bubbles. Both of the protectors that were sent were thrown away and weren't able to actually use any.
The screen protector itself is fine, but the included "dust absorber" sticker to clean the screen before putting on the protector left hard to remove adhesive residue which looks worse than fingerprints. It can be removed with rubbing alcohol, but it does deposit more dust in the process.
Ruined both of them!! First one my own fault. Second one probably my own fault as well but I spent an hour trying to get bubbles out before I gave up. Then found that I had marks all over it. I'm just a clutz, I guess. Might buy another one or might try a different brand.
Only one of the screen protectors was usable. The other one had lots of lint on it already and couldn't be cleaned. I guess we only need one... but we paid for two, but only one was usable. Quite disappointing.
The other one was clean (well, it had a bit of lint but it came right off) and was super easy to install and is working great!
