4.0 out of 5 starsCaveat emptor. Better check that warranty period !!

UPDATE: I just checked and, per the comment left by Samsung support, the incorrect warranty period has been corrected at their website to Parts : 60 months, Labor : 60 months.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Your warranty on this SSD is THREE years, parts & labor. Not FIVE like it says here. And never mind the box says "5 Year Limited Warranty" either.
Because when I looked up the model code stated right on that same box at the Samsung website (MZ-76P256BW) what I got back, under the warranty statement, was "Warranty Information for MZ-76P256BW - Parts : 36 months, Labor : 36 months."
That's just raw. Samsung has always been the go-to for top-shelf quality. What gives with this kind of maneuver?
The prior model, the 850 Pro, had a warranty period of 10 years, parts & labor. The shift from 10 years to (supposed) 5 years cast enough of a dark shadow on the product. Now this.
I say let's hope they start selling it at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They'll take anything back for store credit.
