So you really should read the previous 5 books in the series first - they are funny and well-written, and describe in hilarious detail how Clarissa got to her current position as art teacher for magically gifted students at Womby's. She's had an interesting life so far, and I can say she has some VERY interesting adventures ahead. She is trying so hard not to take after her mother, the wickedest witch ever, while trying to stay out of the clutches of the Raven Court.
Well written sequel in the Womby's School for Wayward Witches. I love this book and series. Love is in the air at the magical at-risk boarding school. Unfortunately, it doesn't end well. Although, love can kill it can also bring back the dead with a touch of magic. A cliffhanger ending leading to the next book in the series. Some mature themes, still a YA book.
I just want things to work out for Clarissa -- and yet I can't help laughing at her impetuousness and inability to figure out what's really happening. She does, in the end. Another delightfully written book in the Womby's series.
Lots of action in this one. Clarissa runs around trying to figure out who's good and who's bad, but her instincts aren't always good, especially since she doesn't feel she can trust Thatch. Great plot and characters development.
Can Clarissa do anything right? Despite her best intentions things never turn out the way she wishes. Can she find Derrick? Is Thatch telling her the truth? Can a wish backfire? Read this story to find out.
I loved this paranormal mystery book. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. The characters were genuine and quirky. I found one sentence that the construction was backwards but otherwise it was wonderful. I recommend this book to everyone.
