They work fine
Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2019
As pull ups, these work fine. I thought these would be a great transition from diapers for kid and parent alike since they also have velcro instead of being fixed seams, but the hook-and-loop surfaces are reversed from normal diapers. So the motion you've spent the last 18 months perfecting to keep stuff in the diaper, then seal it up before throwing it in the diaper pail, won't apply here. That's actually really annoying (and inconceivable why they would make this design decision) whether you change one of these like a diaper or 100.
Also, some of these boxes come with a kids story that is really just an attempt to get your kid hooked on the idea they need to have a mickey mouse potty in order to start potty training as well as other potty training techniques like using rewards for successful attempts at going that may be counter to the method you're using. So my advice to other parents would be to open these out of view of your kid to make sure there isn't a little disney potty training marketing catalog that you'll never hear the end of stuffed inside.
