Good deal

I bought this instead of the cricut version because it was less expensive, but also came with the necessary teflon sheet and heat protection pad (the Cricut version does not come with either, and they are quite pricey for the Cricut versions). I have only used it once so far, and I'm positive I got a good deal. I had to do two passes to get the vinyl to stick to the shirt, but from the videos I've seen that's normal. The shirt turned out great. The only negative was that the machine emitted a terrible burning plastic smell even before I used it ( while it was warming up). The smell didn't dissipate from the room for a couple days.

Won’t stay hot....

I had to send it back since it would not keep the temperature it was set at. I read that this was a problem with this item in another color. I guess I should have taken that into consideration when I purchased this. The silicone mat was nice, but I couldn’t justify keeping something that didn’t work. I had to go back to my good ole’ iron to complete my orders! Maybe if I get the Cricut and not the knock off I’ll have better luck?!
