Top critical review
I have two and so far so good. (Update)

I like the squat nature of this unit, it stays upright while driving. This is important if you are going to plug it into a 12V outlet in the vehicle to keep it charged (if you do this, make sure the 12V adapter is off when the vehicle is not running). At the campsite, a decent sized solar panel with the correct plug could keep it charged.
The invertor has a fan, I used the invertor to charge a small battery and the fan never came on. When I tried a slightly larger load, the fan cycled on and off. The invertor is protected by a fuse but it's located inside the unit so you must take it apart to replace it, I plan to install a self resetting breaker (shame on POTEK for not addressing this).
The LED light is weak (see pictures), but it would be OK inside a tent for ambient light. I like a much brighter light when I'm dealing with a roadside issue, so I still carry an LED headlight in the vehicle.
The storage compartments at the sides are a nice feature and they are big enough to hold a bit more stuff than is shipped with the unit. Things like an extra USB cable, maybe. Both of my units arrived nearly fully charged, it only took about 5 minutes to top them off.
I added a volt meter to the blank panel on the righthand side.
I attached the positive feed to the top post of the rotary OFF/ON switch. This allows me to see the charge level of the vehicle battery before turning the switch to the ON position (see pictures). In the pictures, the vehicles' battery shows 12.1 volts (switch OFF) and 12.5V with the JS88 turned on (switch ON). The unit disassembles easily but you will need a long shaft #2 phillips screwdriver to get to 2 screws. and you will need to remove two of the bottom feet to gain access to two other screws.
The air compressor works OK, but it vibrates a lot so I wonder how long it will last. I noticed this when I had it apart to install the meter, it vibrates badly because it does not appear to be counterbalanced. Hopefully, it will last. If the air compressor was balanced, I would have given it an extra star. I had a hard time removing the air line from my tire because it's a tight fit. I ended up losing more air then I put in. I lubricated the nipple with WD-40 and that helped. Maybe with a few more uses it will loosen up.
So, docked one star for air compressor related issues, and one star for the internal fuse. Otherwise, it could have been a four star rating for me. (I'm very stingy with 5 star ratings).
The invertor on one of the units I have quit working. I contacted Amazon and was referred to POTEK directly. After a couple of emails (they responded very quickly, even after hours), they sent me another unit free of charge). Though I'm disappointed about the failure, I had a good experience with POTEK customer service so I raised the star rating to three stars.
