To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This is a very nice reversible umbrella I never have used one like this before, It opens up the opposite way of other ones and has a thick windproof Double layer material to keep the rain off of you. Has a long handle and very easy to hang up after use because of the hooked end of the handle. It also comes with a cover than you can store it in when not in use, It is quite large so can fit more than 1 person very easy under it. I like the way it looks when open has a different shape to it that most of them.

This product is junk! Unfortunately I am 3 days past the period for returns according to Amazon. Received it and loved the look but only used this umbrella 3 times! The third time as pictured, one of the rods shot right through the top of the umbrella. If there was an option I would give this NO STARS for a rating.
I saw this umbrella and thought it was a great idea. So I purchased it and threw it in the back of my car. Unfortunately, I had not used it for quite awhile. Imagine my disappointment when trying to use it and it would not stay open, annoying trying to stay dry and having your other hand occupied. I realize it's too late to return it but for me it was not a good purchase.
This umbrella is really nice. I love the galaxy design. The material seems and feels nice and strong. Stronger than my other umbrellas.I thought it was a little bit bigger but I guess it's ok. I haven't use it yet so we'll see how good it is once I get to use it.
I had this umbrella for years until someone at work stole it. Ordered it again, and OnTrac, who are notorious for failing miserably at their main objective of delivering goods to consumers, left it at the door, while I was home, without ringing the bell. I live on a 4-lane busy street, so needless to say, it was presumably stolen by the time I went outside a couple hours later.
5 stars for the product: sturdy, highly wind resistant, stands upright to drain, and the handle that loops around the wrist for hands-free umbrella use is very convenient!
But beware, west coast customers in OnTrac’s shipping area, this product is “delivered” by the Ralph Wiggum of shipping companies.
Also, this is clearly a product that’s so perfect, it’s worth stealing. Twice.
Used occasionally for less than a year. Took it to the market today and went to extend the umbrella, and the metal snapped completely as seen in the picture attached. Quite disappointed in the shoddy quality.
I bought this item 6 weeks ago and now it won't stay open or closed anymore so it's completely useless. Return window has closed so I'm just out the money now.
EDITED TO ADD: The company contacted me after I posted my original 1-star review and offered to replace the defective item or refund the money. I changed my review to 3-stars because I believe good customer service is important. I love this umbrella, maybe mine was just a lemon.
Let me begin by saying this umbrella is a nice umbrella. The problem is that it is NOT as big as they claim. I had previously purchased a similar umbrella from a competitor about 3 years ago, and the reason I bought this new one was I needed a larger umbrella, which this one claimed to be based on published dimensions. That is false. Beware that if you are looking for one of these, they are simply smaller than what they claim, which is very disappointing.
I get comments and compliments on this umbrella everytime I use it. Especially popular is the feature which allows the umbrella to stand on its own so that it can drip dry. I love umbrellas and I'm developing quite the collection, but while I'll lend out the others, this one is a favorite and I like to keep to myself :)
I really like the concept of it being windproof with its inverted design. But, it's 31.5 inches long, and I'm only 5'2". The handle is a loop, so you can hang it from your wrist. But, when I tried this, I had to keep my arm raised to keep the umbrella from hitting the floor. Also, the handle design being what it is won't allow the user to hang it from a shopping cart. Finally, I was surprised at its weight. I will go back to my little folded umbrella that I can just put in my purse.
The fold inside feature is truly the most amazing part...you don't have to pull a wet umbrella into the car when you slide in during a storm, and the inside is so pretty it doesn't really matter that it's raining! Very durable, easy to store when not in use, and comfortable to use.
