Top critical review
1965 effort from the World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band is a mixed bag of tricks.

Here's a couple of things to keep in mind before you go out and get this disc. First: it's a bare bones, remastered version of the Stones fourth U.S. release from 1965. Again: the U.S. release. That means 6 of the tracks here are different from the UK release, most notably the removal of "Heart of Stone" and the addition of Stones classics "The Last Time", "Play with Fire" and "Satisfaction". So, most of the record is a mix of R&B covers of songs by Don Covay, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, and others. It's got a very British Invasion sound to it and obviously, you want it for "Satisfaction", which sounds AWESOME! It's a mixed bag and, if you want the hits, buy HOT ROCKS or one of the other compilation discs. If you're a completest, you want this too!
