5.0 out of 5 stars2 Great Musicians! 1 Great Movie!
October 23, 2018
Received the soundtrack cd and haven't stop listening to it all day! The music is a perfect blend of highs and lows, following the sequence of the screenplay. Going to spend a lot of time enjoying this treasure! Just ordered another copy for a birthday gift. Award winning stuff here! Love it!
The soundtrack is alright. I don't like every song, and in retrospect I should have just cherry-picked and bought the songs individually. I'll add some to a playlist and burn the playlist, because--as anyone with a brain knows--who would want to listen to snippets of dialogue in between songs? Who's bright idea was that? Whoever it was should be fired. Skipping a song here or there isn't a big deal--I never like every single song on a cd anyway--but skipping literally half the cd or more doesn't make for an enjoyable experience. I'll burn my own cd and hopefully offload this irritation onto someone else.
I really love this soundtrack and was excited to receive the CD version. When it arrived and I opened it, the jewel case was broken and it doesn't stay together when you open it. That is a disappointment because I purchased this brand new . Maybe the packaging for shipping should be better so this doesn't happen.
The songs are great, of course, but I really wish they’d left out all the dialogue. If I want dialogue, I’ll watch the movie, but it’s annoying and distracting while driving, not to mention how many extra “tracks” I have to skip to hear the song I want. Probably not an issue if you’re just downloading the songs onto a playlist.
It arrived very quickly, was a good price and I would have given a 5 but I’m going to have to give it a 3. It was a gift for my mother for her birthday and I feel it was not packaged as well as it could have been because the case was cracked. I’m sure she has listened to it and she has not commented there was anything wrong with the CD so I’m happy about that.
The music is really good. But, the added dialog is annoying. I find myself skipping the dialog, just so I can hear the next song. This is the only CD I own that does not give me the title of the song as it plays in my car. Instead Track number 1-34 mark the song as it plays. That seems a bit weird, disappointing and not really what I thought I was buying.
