The app itself overall is great as usual. top notch quality from the app developer. however we have a problem where updates are concerned. i looked at the other reviews of this app and i am not the only one who was run around in circles of being asked to update and then being taken to the app store and then back to the app to be asked again if i wanted to update. this is just plain bonkers. why on earth is it not possible to simply and easily update the damnable thing? i finally had to delete the app from my device and then re install it from the app store. i swear next time im in the market for a tablet computer i will just buy a damned ipad. they may be completely banal and overly expensive but at least they actually forking work 99% of the time for 75% of what i use my tablet for.
If I could give 3.5 I would. Great for kids. Not fond of them increasing price so they can make shows. Movies are decent, but definate room for improvement. Don't like that they show what they think I'll like which is usually wrong. Moreover, if kids/guest/wife watches a movie under my profile, it makes the selections even worse and no way to remove that from profile. Overall, worth the money since I refuse to pay for crappy cable or satellite. Haven't tried any other services....
Netflix has considerably grown over the past few years, making it one of the greatest movie/television streaming media outlets available out there! They have also come up with some pretty decent original TV and movie series! Netflix does require a membership fee. However you are able to design it to your financial needs, which I find a huge plus in this day and age! :) I highly recommend Netflix to anyone out there. As a side note; Netflix does offer first time user's anywhere, a 14-30 day free trial offer! I wish I would've been able to take advantage of the 30 day free trial offer! LOL. ;)
Jeez, don't even get me started on how much I love Netflixs. This apps is extremely addactining for binge watching an entire series in three days. The only problem with Netflix for me is that its really slow to update the newest season for a series. But Netflix is also extremely diverse in its selection. There's kids shows, movies, anime, tv series, tons of different stuff. So if your looking for an app to consumer all of your free time, this is it.
Thank goodness Netflix came along. So many movies to chose from and so little time. Additionally, they have gotten better about which ones they post as far as how recent the movie is. Fees seem reasonable for now. However, I strongly believe they should rethink raising their rates. Why potentially mess up a good thing? Greed will kill a business faster than anything. People are dropping cable because of constant rate increases, sure would hate for cable to get a bigger customer base from previous Netflix customers.
but, maybe because I'm a senior citizen, many are "younger minded" or have different opinions of what is "good". I enjoy having it on my Kindle because I can move the device from room to room as I'm working around the house; I don't have to sit in one place to watch the program or movie. So far during my free month's trial, I have watched 7 movies that I've wanted to see but not really wanted to buy. It causes me to stay up later because I want to finish the movie. British TV sitcoms I enjoy like "Derek". It's different. I will subscribe when my free trial ends because I haven't "explore" all the options there are.
