Not enough new streaming content. "Copies" Amazon. Prime Videos. No classics, like Tennessee Williams, Marlon Brando, Liz Taylor or 1970's either! Fiddler on the Roof, The Way We Were, Summer of 42, etc. This may be available in their "mail " sunbscription, but I would'nt need their player. The volume on my Kindle without earphones is really inadequate. Very disappointed! No Netflix for me. BTW their movies you buy in HD are at least a couple $$ more and SD is 5-8 bucks.
App does not work at all on my Kindle Fire HD 10. On the rare occasion that a video actually loads, the picture freezes up after 13 seconds, but the audio continues. I have spent hours on the phone with tech support for both Amazon and Netflix, to no avail. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, reset, cleared data, removed all my other apps to eliminate conflicts, and nothing helps.
I am very disappointed in this app. When I tried to open Netflix it says my email is wrong then password is wrong. I have no idea what password is used. I tried every name in our house, all phone numbers. I have waited for a call but I will not be getting one for you cannot identify who I am. How can this be when you have sent me a email for a review??
wow have they gotten bad, i remember when netflix had most of the older movies, but now there is very little old stuff and not any new good stuff, poor selection. thought i would enjoy and replace tv, but very little newer programing and not much else.
I'll be ending the 30 day free trial very soon and sticking with Amazon Prime. Netflix doesn't even carry old classics. It seems that all they have is B movies and TV shows. I loved Netflix when I could either watch directly to my TV and exchange discs in the mail. Now that it's either/or it's not worth the money. Amazon Prime isn't the best either, you have to pay extra for the recently released movies and TV shows, but I get a lot of free shipping from Amazon and there are some movies worth watching if you have the time to search through all of the old stuff. Generally, Netflix went from a pretty good service to a waste of time.
