Bought this for my youngest son for his 9th birthday. We both were very disappointed. Bullets regularly get stuck in the barrel and have to be put out. Holding down the switch to build power so bullets go takes a long time to wind up. Bullets don’t travel far. Magazine only holds 10 bullets so they run out fast. He was so excited to get it as he’s a huge Fortnite fan and plays every day. He hasn’t played with it it since his birthday. It just sits in a corner of his room. Waste of money.
I purchased three of these guns for Christmas with two of them going to my nephew's and me keeping one to defend myself. I was extremely disappointed with these guns from the Nerf. for starters trying to explain to a child how he has to hold a button while pulling another button to fire is going to make that child lose interest really quickly. there is no element of surprise with this gun because you have to spend of the gear allow you to fire before you actually fire the button and that means everyone will hear you coming. If I had to do it over again I would not buy this gun it is simply a niche gun for people who play fortnite and not a niche gun for someone who enjoys a Nerf war.
After a few attempts at different packs of batteries just knocking on the outside got it running. A bad battery connection inside. My son is in love with the gun regardless, but I am super annoyed that right out of the box it didn’t work correctly. A few days in and it works periodically. My other son got a non- fortnight nerd gun and it works great. :/
This isn’t worth the money IMO. I bought two and honestly the pump action Fortnite silenced pistols seem to shoot farther and faster and jam way less. Pretty disappointing considering how expensive this gun is and the fact that it has a motor and batteries. Honestly buy the pistols or wait for the tac shotgun to be released as its pump action as well.
I don’t know what’s up with all these good reviews this product is absolute garbage I bought 2 of them for my 2 boys and both started jamming on the first mag. Very weak and will eat your batteries in no time. As for accuracy, it’s not even that accurate one shoot on target the other comes out too weak. I’d highly consider something else I returned both the same day we got them. 2 stars bc they look cool.
I was so excited to purchase this for my son as he loves fortnite and nerf. Best of both worlds. How ever it has given us alot of issues and is now in a corner to collect dust. The bullets jam, the gun goes in a lock where the trigger gets stuck. Too much hassle. Not enough playing time. Spend too much time to get this gun to work to play. Better options out there. Not worth the $40 I spent at all.
Nothing exceptional about this Nerf gun other than the size. It's HUGE and gets jammed a lot. The accuracy is horrible and the nerf bullets don't go very far at all. It cost too much for the product quality. I was disappointed so was my 9 year old son. I expected more from the NERF brand. - lesson learned.
The toy was a hit as a gift, but the major problem is that it only has a 10 dart capacity. It lasts about 5 seconds before it is out of darts and the clip has to be reloaded. I'd recommend buying an additional clip as an add-on
This Nerf gun was an item my 11-year-old son bought with his own money, and it quit working after only 2 months. It's not the quality of most Nerf guns. Don't waste your money and batteries. It's only fun for a very short time.
My kids used this for less than an hour before they started having issues with it. We decided after the second time my husband had to try and fix it that it wasn’t worth the money we paid for it and returned it.
