Easter Bunny brought this for my 6 yr old. What a disappointment. I expected more for almost 50 bucks. It is lightweight, just feels very cheaply made. Sometimes it works, most of the time it does not. Battery compartment very iffy.
My son got this for an xmas gift. He opened it, and the motor didn't work. Shipped that one back and got a replacement gun. He opened it, again, and it worked for about 3 minutes and it quit working - AGAIN!! It is not the batteries, they were brand new from the pack. Talk about a disappointed little kid :-(
waste of money. no power at all and AA battery doesn't properly fit in the battery case I had to cut some foil and adjust it to fit the batteries and then it worked but it shoots the bullets so weak it didn't even go 1 meter.
I wish I could give this a higher rating. It came as described and my grandson was really excited to play with it. It was his only requested gift for his 7th birthday. We put the batteries in and he took it out to play with it and it stopped working after 10 minutes. We tried various different batteries thinking that was the problem. He did not misuse it and we couldn't find anything wrong with it other than it just didn't operate. We ended up returning it. We've bought other Nerf brand items and have never had a problem.
Doesnt work. 2 sets of new batteries and it doesnt work. JUNK. Nerf makes garbage toys. I bought two different NERF guns and they both arrived defective. And of course their customer support is closed. I will NEVER buy another Hasboro toy again. I will post a YouTube video showing the poor quality control on both items. Both of my kids were excited to use these. Shame on Hasboro.
I had the same problem of gun not working. Tried new batteries no help. Checked the ejection door that is required to be closed to work. I disassembled the gun and held down the switch on the ejection door and the motor worked. So I put a shim of folded paper between the switch and the body which raised up the switch and allowed the ejector door to more fully contact the switch. It works now, so I guess they have a group of these guns with switch problems considering how many good reviews there are.
This gun was a gif to my child, he use for one week approximate. My child said me the battery runned out, I changed the batteries but the gun is not worked, Tried with a different batteries but nothing. Tried the original batteries, surprise, it ok. The problem is the engine, died. The worst gun of Nerf
GARBAGE! Used NEW batteries all the same brand. Toy works for 30 seconds then cuts out. Take out batteries and reinsert and get another 30seconds the wires are shorted out and can’t use it as a regular gun
