Product came perfectly packaged. My issue is with the fragrance. It is VERY strong. It's like walking into a small bathroom Right after someone sprayed an entire can of air freshener. I personally refuse to use it on my newborn.
I love the all on one body and hair shampoos for children. Bathing a wiggly toddler is tough so one product is best. This shampoo is moisturizing enough for their skin and leaves the hair clean and smelling good.
We started buying this on amazon instead of the aveno baby because of the price....smells way better and it is way cheaper...smaller bottles actually makes it easier to works with at bath time. Really good!
According to Earth Science Naturals avena sativa (oat) kernel extract is “ Used for its anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and soothing properties on the skin. May ease a variety of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne and dry, itchy skin.” Obviously this is an excellent ingredient to add to any shampoo / body wash, especially one made for babies. Of course I do love a nice hypoallergenic shampoo and / or body wash so was anxious to try this one.
It isn’t fragrance-free, but rather has a nice light, clean smell to it. I decided that because it was a light- to medium-day in the work department, I’d give it a try. As per the instructions, I wet a washcloth and lathered up with it. The lather is not a heavy one, but rather light. In other words, you won’t be finding piles of suds. I also washed my hair while I was at it.
I do have Suave Hair and Body, but that’s obviously not for me. I loved the soft feel on my skin after I was done and my hair was soft and manageable. This time of year my hair isn’t bad so actually almost any shampoo will give me good results. My skin, on the other hand feels great and I do love the light fragrance the Mountain Falls left behind. It’s not cloying and is quite appealing. Not just for babies, but for anyone that wants a gentle shampoo / body wash .
It does have an expiration date and lot number below the cap, 04/2020
