FABULOUS PRODUCT !!!

Wow! I love my new MoKo Slim Shell Case. I carry my Kindle with me everywhere I go so I knew I needed a case that would be not only attractive but durable as well. Let's face it, the inside of a woman's handbag is not for the meek of heart and MoKo delivered in spades. I ordered the red, white and blue American flag design and it's simply gorgeous! People are always interrupting me while I'm reading, asking where did I purchase my adorable case and of course, I always tell them - it's a MoKo and I purchased it from Amazon. It holds my Kindle snugly and safely and also prevents damage if it's ever accidentally dropped. I'm sure that's not part of their guarantee but I discovered this little fact first hand when mine took a tumble and lived to tell the tale! It's easy to install and fits perfectly. It's also light-weight, very comfortable to hold while reading, and doesn't hinder the operation of the front or rear camera nor any device functions. It's extremely durable, doesn't show dirt or stains, and wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. But the coolest feature is the clear back on the case which enables me to see the color of my Kindle. And why would that be so important? I have six Kindles, all various sizes and colors, each used for a different genre, and four of the six have Moko covers. I can easily identify the device I want with no difficulty at all. They're absolutely perfect! I couldn't be happier with my purchase and fully intend to purchase more of these cases for my other devices. This is actually my fourth one! I think that's the best recommendation I can give.

I ordered this case after receiving a Fire HD8 for Christmas, and have been pleased overall. The case fits snugly, feels very sturdy, and has a pleasing finish on both the hard plastic back and the flexible front cover. I appreciate that there are ample cutouts for all the buttons, a given typically, but also a cutout for the Micro SD card slot, which some cases I've used in the past didn't account for. I also love the instant-on function of the case where it will turn the screen on when you open the front cover without having to hit the power button. This is extremely helpful, and was so unexpected I found myself still pressing the button, turning the screen off, for a couple of days before I got used to this great feature.
One gripe I do have with the case is the "kickstand" feature of the foldable front cover. The front cover is supposed to fold into a triangle to act as a kickstand, however in use it's somewhat difficult to get it to hold correctly, and then when it does the cover has a tendency to spring open as soon as there isn't a restraint holding its shape. It's a neat feature in practice that just doesn't always work correctly.
Edit: I ended up buying a new case for my Fire HD 8. It got to the point that the kickstand simply wasn't good enough for my usage needs. I often watch videos to fall asleep while at hotels, etc, and found that I could not satisfactorily balance the tablet on my chest without it falling over. The magnet itself didn't seem to be able to hold the kickstand in the triangle position reliably either. Unfortunately most cases these days use the same folding stand concept, so I will have to do some research.

I bought this to match my yellow Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet and upon first opening it I was wowed. This was very short lived as I noticed scuff marks on the cover after placing it in my purse. I purchased this case and tablet at the last minute to take on an international trip. I figured I would disregard the scuffs and see how it held up the rest of the time. I quickly noticed the front cover is prone to scuffs, marks, and anything that touches it apparently. Within 3 days of use the entire outside and inside of the front cover was either marked or stained from normal use. I did not spill anything on the case its just marks like from your fingers etc.

I am spoiled! I wanted the option to stand the kindle vertically and read.. I dont enjoy the laying it on the table where you have to look down at it.. just wasnt as useful.. couldnt sit it on the bar and do my stepper and read like I had with my previous kindle case..
The case itself is hard backed plastic with the usual soft inner lining, but althought the outer cover was really beautiful the actual cover was sort of floppy because it was made to bend in thirds as a book rest... it will be good protection for the face of your kindle.. but as far as free standing for reading.. Sorry, not my fav!

The case is ok. This is the second model that I have tried. Neither of which provide adequate support while reading in bed with the tablet resting on my chest in landscape position. I haven't seen any other designs that look better though. I would prefer that the support would fasten more securely into position to prevent is falling over so frequently. I am happy with the protection that the case provides though.
Update: Since writing my review I was contacted by the seller who offered to send me a refund because I wasn't completely satisfied with this product. I declined to accept the refund because the case is performing at least as well or better than the previous one that I bought and returned. Although I fell the improvements could be made to the design that would make the stand more stable I am satisfied that it is at least at good as others that I have seen and the price was more than fair.

I really like the wake/sleep feature. I only have two negative issues with it. (1) The back cover is very slick. I have to be more careful with it. The previous case I purchased had a texture to the back and would hug a surface better. (2) The tri-fold stand is not wanting to stay in the folded position. I have to really try to convince to stay in the "stand" position. Once again, the earlier one that I purchased worked perfectly. I should return it, but I don't want to deal with it. The cost of it isn't worth my trouble. I'm disappointed that it's not like the one I bought before.

Not a bad case for the price. Good quality. However, the pictures of this product show that the back of the case is 100% translucent. In the pictures of the back of the case, the color of the tablet is exactly the same in the areas the case does not cover (around the camera lens), as the areas that the case covers.. indicating that there is no color to the back plastic piece of the case. The case i received is shaded black and is only about 30% transparent. Not a huge deal but i consider that false advertising. Hopefully you read this before you buy it so you know what you're buying.

I've had this sort of cover in the past for an iPad and it worked great, but I think it is a poor design for the narrow width of the Kindle Fire. It's pretty and contrary to other experiences, I have no problem with the magnetic close, however the cover does not fold backwards properly to accommodate a stand – which was my primary reason for choosing this item. I wanted something that wasn't bulky but was able to stand.

The stupid magnet sensor in the foldover case that helps to activate sleep mode will also activate sleep mode of it's folded over backward and touching the rear of the tablet ... So with it in the open position and folded back, your tablet will randomly sleep or screen lock. I eventually just cut that portion off of mine entirely :(

I wanted a reasonably priced case & after comparing to others I settled on this one. It matches my red fire tablet & the patterened cases did not appeal to me. Others were also too pricey in comparison to the cost & quality of the tablet. Overall, it fits well, slim not bulky. My only issue is when I want to fold into stand position. It collapses pretty easily, which is unfortunate as that was a feature I was looking for. Fine beyond that.

This was a replacement case, the first one had problems with the cover being folded back and putting the tablet to sleep.
The replacement still does the same thing, but not as bad as the first one did. There seems to be a flaw somewhere in manufacturing. Customer service was excellent.
