We were able to meet the needs of our gluten-free friends using these matzo-style squares during the Passover week. Makes good vegan gluten-free matzah balls if the balls are baked before adding to the soup.
Tastes like matzo but harder and somewhat brittle. Main ingredient is potato flour and I found it tastes a little bit like a potato chip, would be more enjoyable if it did not break so much during shipping, (see photos)
Like everyone said these come SMASHED in a million pieces. It is a shame because in the gluten free world for me, my body can tolerate these. Darn shame we pay top dollar for everything & this is what we get.
Taste is good; but it crumbles in your hands into 100s of small pieces making a mess and leaving you biting air. If you want to make it GF, you need to make this thicker so it won't be a bag of crumbs. Next!
