Sturdy, fun, some assembly issues

My daughter enjoys this very much. One of the features I like is the ability to raise or lower the basket, so I'm hoping we'll get several years or more use out of it. Upon opening the box I was happy to see about five parts total. Most of it went together fine, but be careful how you snap the backboard/hoop assembly together. I almost broke it sliding it in the groove. Also, the net is too small. Any toy ball bigger than a softball will get stuck in the net. I solved this by repeatedly pulling very hard on the netting until it relaxed a bit. I mean REALLY hard - again, almost ripped it. The directions say put sand in the base but water will work too. The base is very sturdy and the plastic will not leak.
UPDATE 7/12: We've owned it more than a year and my daughter, who is now five, still plays with it. I will say she rarely plays unless my wife or I play with her, but that is part of the beauty of the toy! Still in great condition, and still hasn't leaked a drop of water (and it is inside my house). The simplest toys really are the best.
