This wallet is classic and stylish, not too big and not too small. My only surprise was that it is not as "soft" as many people indicated in their reviews -- I assume it may soften over time? But I can honestly say that I found nothing in stores to compare.... Definitely many wallets I would have loved for $125 and up at TJ Maxx/ $250 and above at retail stores. This is great quality for the price and I am very happy with it.
I am super picky about wallets. It has to have enough slots for my cards, my driver's license, a place for my checkbook, my change and my different "stuff" I manage to collect. Not only does this wallet do all of this, it has room for my iPhone (for the days I don't want to lug my purse around) AND is a RFID blocker! In this day and age of the new RFID chips on cards (and thieves with RFID scanners), RFID blocking wallets are essential. This is a GREAT wallet for its price point!
Very nice wallet. My wife LOVES it. Plenty of room for about a dozen credit cards, bills, change, etc. Has the security panels, which was a big influence in picking this one. Shiny real leather, very nicely finished and appointed.
I really like this wallet. First, it looks nice. The size is perfect. It's easy to use and most importantly, it has plenty of room for everything. Plenty of room for all my credit cards, change and bills, without being bulky.
I had another wallet with a file system in it, and thought I'd keep it until it fell apart. However, with chip cards, I thought an RFID deal would be safer. So, not expecting too much, ordered this. The leather is nice, it's great for an organizing junkie such as myself, yet is less bulky than my last wallet. Love this one!!! Way better quality than I expected.
This is my second Dante belt. I was given one as a gift a month or two ago and liked it even though dealing with the quirky release button is a pain sometimes. That was my first racheting belt and have to say it is well made, seems very solid.I recently went to look for second belt in a different color and I noticed that they had a new release method, the click buckle. It seemed better and had some good reviews so I thought I'd try it. I was actually going to try a competitors belt with the better release button but when I saw Dante had changed their release mechanism I thought I'd give Dante another try. First of all it's cheaper pricewise, they have a better selection, they obviously care what their customers think. I'm glad I gave the Dante another try. The most important thing obviously was how much better and easier the click buckle is. It makes a big difference and now works so smoothly. The buckle looks really nice and leather is high quality. When I decide to get a third belt there won't be a need to consider the competitors.Love the variety of buckles.
The belt looks good, the quality is good, and I like the black buckle a lot. But the best thing about it is the ratchet-style adjustment mechanism. Unlike belts that adjust with conventional holes, the ratchet mechanism allows for a much finer length setting. Why use a belt that only allows 1" length changes when you can use one with 1/4" increments?
Too loose? Just give it a little tug to tighten it a notch or two and you're all set. Just finished a big meal and need a little extra length? Loosening is a snap.
I like this enough that I'm ordering the same belt in brown.
I bought this wallet in black for me and purple for my mom. They seem to be well-constructed and are attractive looking. There is plenty of rooms for lots of cards, although the slots are a little tight. I think these will loosen up with some use. I have a spot in my purse for my phone so I don't usually carry it in my wallet. I did, however, check and my iPhone 6s easily fits in this wallet - even with all of the card slots full and quite a bit of change in the coin pocket. I have only been using mine for a day so I can't speak to the durability but, based on that use, I would definitely recommend.
When I read the reviews on this wallet I was hoping for the best, without high expectations. In a world where every store you walk into requires a loyalty card for its best prices, though, my old wallet wasn't cutting it any more. This wallet comes with 21 card pockets, plus a zipper compartment and a second snap section for bills, cell phone, etc. I could easily use this as a clutch purse, and like that it maintains a surprisingly slim line. There are two ID slots where there's a kind of mesh overlay instead of clear plastic, which I don't love, but it's a minor quibble. It's also a little challenging to et your ID out of the mesh pockets, but I assume that will get easier when the wallet isn't quite as new. The other card pockets fit a standard credit card without forcing.
Other people stated in reviews that they don't believe this wallet is real leather,. I beg to differ. There are visible points, such as inside the zipper compartment and inside a snap compartment, where the unfinished interior leather is obvious. The leather is stiff and it has a shiny dyed finish, but it IS leather. There is visible stitching outside the wallet, as shown in the photos, and the stitching appears to be solid and evenly-spaced on the one I received. The color is rich and even. One other quibble - I ordered purple, but the color is nearer burgundy than purple. While it's not a big concern to me, if color is a major issue for you, it's something to take into account before ordering. Overall this seems like a decent quality piece, without being too heavy or bulky. I love it!
This was my first belt of this type, so was a little hesitant when I ordered it. I can't speak about any others, but this belt is great! The length was perfect right out of the box for me, so I didn't have to do any trimming. Putting the clasp onto the leather also was very easy. As far as using the belt, I absolutely love the micro-adjusting that can be done. My other belts sometimes felt like they were either too loose, or too tight. You couldn't get them "just right". Not so with this belt. With adjustments every quarter-inch or so, it's easy (and more comfortable) to find that sweet spot, with regards to tightness. Will definitely be ordering more of these belts in the future.
