I always prefer supporting ebook authors and I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I couldn’t even finish this book. I’m sure the story plot is good but the writing style was beyond frustrating. Very choppy! I read an entire conversation before I realized they weren’t in person, but on the phone. Then there was an interaction between the H and h where the author kept saying things like “But the expression on his face wasn’t cruel or frustrated at all, no, it was…” or “Our eyes met. And instead of a blankness there, I saw…” The “...” at the end was all the explanation we got. There were also bad spelling, odd word selections, and grammar mistakes. I usually will look over most of these when the story is flowing and fun... but this choppy mess was too much for even me. Sorry Ava Storm, I wish you success with other books.
