Nice economy SSD.
Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2015
I bought this economy SSD so that I would have a spare SSD. My roommate was finding her laptop (used only for travel) a little old and arthritic, even though we had maxed out the memory, so, I used this drive to replace a WD 2.5" 5400 rpm in her computer. Suddenly her laptop is no longer a travel only make do, but, with the SSD it is now the easy near equal of her desktop tower.
I used an Acronis USB to SATA adapter I had, and EasyGig IV that I have had for several years. In about 40 minutes the WD had been cloned onto the KingDian and about 15 minutes later a fully functional, much smoother operating laptop was ready to go. The cloning went without a hitch, the OS (Win7, 64 bit) has been operating flawlessly for about a week now. I am encouraged by a smart drive utility that tells me the disk is functioning smoothly, and is estimated to continue so until about 2024 (assuming certain drive parameters.)
I am very pleased with this drive, and intend to keep one or two of these around for grins and giggles. I will update should anything averse happen, but assuming nothing further, my December of 2015 review will stand.
