It’s an okay tablet. I bought this for my two year old thinking it was the perfect learning tool for her fast growing mind. A few things I don’t like
-the constant ads on the lock screen is really annoying. My toddle always ends up clicking on them and opening stupid stuff up. -it wasn’t until the entire world went under stress in a pandemic that I noticed she had some how purchased over $45 worth of digital content to my credit card from the prime video app. Phones are shut down so it’s not like I can even attempt to get a refund. -just got in December 2019 and by March 2020, the battery doesn’t last but an hour before it’s dead. The brightness has never been higher than 50% and the tablet has had minimal usage. So for it to have this crappy of a battery is very disappointing to me. -I want to be able to take a long drive across country and not worry about what my kid is doing on their tablet. But in order to do that, parental settings must be enabled. That would be fine except every god damn app she wants to go into or movie she wants to watch, I have to type in a Password. Very inconvenient. I deactivated the tablet from my prime account and now the tablet is just a brick. It won’t let you use any app on it without being logged into your amazon account. Total waste of money. I will not buy another fire tablet ever again. I’d rather place the investment in Apple. Will not be recommending this product to anyone.
The case is beautiful, sturdy and I love love the stand. BUT there is not openings to release the SOUND. So I will have to turn the sound all the way up to hear anything. Crazy right. Sadly or you either open a hole or buy something different. I am returning it ☹️
