This food was not the right one for Pointer Sister. When I got her from the rescue, she'd been eating this for months, so I kept her on it to avoid upsetting her tummy. But I noticed that she was extremely itchy, had bald spots in her coat, and constantly acted hungry. I'm not sure all these issues were 100% due to the food, but I switched her to a grain-free, limited ingredient brand as soon as I felt I could. (I'll review that product separately.) On the new food, her coat is gorgeous, she rarely itches, and she seems full. Of course it costs 3x as much, but Pointer Sister is worth every penny! :)
My dog is dying after eating this product. I knew something was up when he threw up the first day. I thought it was nothing , but by day 3 he has been vomiting blood and his excrement is only blood. I really hope he makes it, and it is not because of any allergies in the food. This has never happen to him before, even dollar store pet food does not do this to him. I am now cooking for my dog and hand feeding him and I hope he recovers.
Btw I cooked him some chicken and he ate it no problem...
Please look up consumer reports on them, I wish I did.
Iams is really the only dog food my little chihuahua-mix can eat without any stomach upset. It just works for him. This is my first time to order it online but I needed to ship a bag to where I was going to be without having to pack it. The dog food arrived quickly, and it seems to be fresh (not stale smelling or rancid smelling).
I wish the smaller bag had not have been an add on item so I could have ordered that as that’s all I needed.
$9.94 for the 7 pound bag is the same price it costs elsewhere, and since I have a Prime account there was no shipping.
The minichunks are just the right size for my 14 pound dog. He tolerates it very well and seems to like the taste just fine. It’s the only brand I buy for him.
He has a shiny coat and is energetic, so that’s a good sign too!
This food looks like a quality product, and I loved reading the positive reviews. I adopted a blue heeler from a local shelter, and unfortunately she is a picky eater and refuses to touch this stuff. She immediately tries to flip her bowl over and hide it. She won't eat it later on either, I thought she might go back to it, but she doesn't. I do think it's a great product, but my picky eater is not in love with it.
I know Iams is not the most high-quality dog food out there, but when my elderly dog was going through a picky stage this was all she was willing to eat, so I happily obliged! She also only has 3 teeth, and she gobbled this down easily.
I've been feeding my Pomerrain this brand since I've had him. This recent purchase made him sick and vomit about an hour after eating. Every time he ate he got sick, I made a vet appointment and changed his diet and he stopped getting sick. Nothing but changing his diet made him better. I feel like this must be a bad batch of Iams Mini Chunks. I did some research and Iams Dog food had the worst Reviews and Complaints.

Why the bags are coming already popped stale food before you even get it.Its your packing plant (Amazon) They put the food in a bigger box like they used to anyway I opend the box and sure enough it was popped they Didn't put any of those air cousins in it
My dog (Peaches) likes it moderately and the price was decent. I feel like it might not be as healthy as the more expensive grain free formula that I usually use, but poodle have a notoriously bad digestive system, so it might just be that my dog is sensitive.
