Wipes are thick and textured. But the wipes are sticky and don't slide smoothly over the skin when wiping. I used twice as many wipes to clean pooh messes then I did using my pamper wipes. They seemed to have difficulty grabbing the pooh rather than moving it around, especially the testicle skin. I also didn't like that at the halfway point the wipes stop being intertwined into each other, so while holding the baby still on the changing table with one hand (squirming around), I have to dig into the package to start the second half of the wipes. The black and white packages is nice, and my older son thought that it was great that he didn't have to use baby wipes. I still feel compared to water wipes and pamper wipes these are not as good.
