Top critical review
3.0 out of 5 starsSome stunning songs, but not her best album overall

As a huge Kristin Chenoweth fan, I was excited to start listening to this new album. Although there are a few tracks I love, overall, this isn't her best album. The production and her crystal-clear vocals on her previous album (The Art of Elegance) were beautiful and timeless, but I didn't find those same qualities to ring true in this album. My favorite tracks were The Way We Were, You Don't Own Me, It Doesn't Matter Anymore, I Will Always Love You, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, and Desperado. Songs that disappointed were The Man That Got Away (I'm a HUGE Judy Garland fan and normally love when KCheno covers songs similar to this, but it seemed to be missing something) and I'm a Woman (although fun to hear 3 different women bring their unique styles to the song, it felt disjointed). I Wanna Be Around was forgettable. Overall I would rate this album 3/5 stars because there were classic KCheno songs she delivered on, but 1/3 of the album was disappointing.
