When I find an affordable way to outdo this brand I will let you know. To date, these are the only ones that last, don't leave you with millions of bumps and you can still afford in an almost nearly item. I do however recommend sticking to Amazon for these because getting them in the store can double the cost. I put them in the cart and wait for them to drop. I have never paid more than half the store cost over the last 4 years doing it this way. These are just not replaceable in our household. And we have tried other brands. Either they don't work as well, last as long or have a price that's doable in a low income setting. These are a staple in our 8 person household.
I think I’ve tried every razor blade made by man, and I keep coming back to these. The Mach III is the gold standard of razor blades. Not too many blades, they don’t irritate your face, and they are super easy to use, and clean. The glide strip works and I find myself getting excellent shaves from one blade for about two weeks before I have to change it. The best part is that these have really come down in price over the years. And I want to say I have tried the cheap competitor that makes it bleed very similar to this that will fit in your handle, but truth be told they are not quite the same and they don’t do quite as good a job. So spend a couple more bucks and get the best shape but you can never have. The best part is that these have really come down in price over the years. I have a nice refillable razor at home, and purchased these after I recently finished up a round of disposable razors I had purchased from a warehouse store. When it comes to shaving, I'm pretty old school and don't get my knickers in a twist over the latest and greatest 15-blade ;-) shaving technology, so I appreciate the simplicity and utility of this 3-blade shaving system. These razors have a nice lubricating strip and they give a nice, close shave; probably similar to what you'd get at a professional barber. The plastic holders are nice so that you don't have a gaggle of razor heads cluttering up your drawer, and they make it convenient to hold the head when you are changing to a new one.
These blades look different than the bulk pack I've bought from Sam's club in the past. With that said, they felt far superior, no tugging like before. Mach 3 user for over 20 years. My guess is these are old stock prior to P&G purchase of Gillette. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm about to order more, hopefully receiving the same style. New blade from Amazon on left, old blade bought from Sam's club on right.
Always been a fan of Mach 3 razors, and this is about the best deal you can get for refills. Although in days long past you could get bigger bulk packs at large wholesale stores like Costco or Sam’s, I haven’t seen them there in years.
This pack will last you a while, and I have yet to find a blade with this much comfort and such a clean shave. Don’t settle for some cheapy blade, and don’t bother with the 5-blade nightmares! The 3 blades on these do a perfect job. (Honestly, I have had more than one female friend who said they prefer this over the Venus counterpart that Gillette makes for women to shave their legs!)
They come as three 5-packs, in a plastic case that pops right onto the back of your Mach 3 razor holder.
I've tried the bootleg chinese ones on a certain mobile app, because at department stores these blades are expensive, I saw these at a fair price and man these are just phenomenal in comparison, I have pretty thick hair in my face and they glide through with no scratches or pulls, the blades last much longer and the strip actually lubricates. I have also sensitive skin and no bumps or red marks. For the price these are a must.
The best razor blades I've used in my lifetime. A single refill is good for 30 days everyday use for my moderately coarse, steadily growing hair. Cycling through every 30 days I don't have problems with tugging or any sort of razor burn. The handle itself (not sold with this package) I've used for so many years, I've lost track. I'd say at least three years, most likely a couple more. Balanced against cost, I think I'm getting a very good, economic deal.
I have hair that is so tough, it could be used to clean the barrel of a cannon. In fact, when I had a beard and short hair, the guys nick-named me bore brush. So, no ordinary razor blade is just going to shave this face. Oh, I've used those 5-bladed razors; you know the kind--with the big heads and even bigger marketing budgets. But like an Internet whore, they're all promise and no satisfaction. Give me my razor with some real moves, some real satisfaction.
I stared into the mirror. Some ugly mug stared back at me. Quickly, I splashed warm water on my face, and the guy in the mirror was still just as ugly, but with a wet face. A bit of shaving cream, and it was time to transform that ugly guy into the superhero everyone loves. But like Underdog without his Super Energy Pill, I noticed that my razor was completely dull and powerless. Thankfully, the geniuses at Amazon had responded quickly to my Polly Purebred call for help and delivered this product--fresh Mach 3 blades--just the day before. Quickly swapping the blades, I appreciated the thoughtfulness of how Gillette had put the blades into a clear plastic safety case.
I wet the blade under the stream of water and began to shave. Stroke after stroke, my hairs were cut down like trees being mowed down by lumberjack clearcutters on meth. The sharp blades were like Star Trek Borg--resistance was futile. No hair could stand against them. And yet, miraculously, the blades never broke the surface of my skin. It's the exact opposite experience of shaving with a sander, but I digress.
Rinsing the lather off my face, I gazed into the mirror and saw some baby-faced superhero staring back. I almost wished I could grow my beard again, just so I could shave it off. But I'll settle for waiting a day or so and coming back again for another round of shaving pleasure.
Sure, these Mach 3 blades are great and fit both my Mach 3 and my Mach 3 Turbo handles (which are the same, except the color of the Turbo grip is black, which as we all know makes it faster somehow). Some people see these as replacement razor cartridges. I see these guys as Adventure in a Clear Plastic Case.

I have tried lots of razor blades: Schick, Personna, Bic, Astra... you name it, and even different kind of Gillete blades like Gillete Sensor, Gillete Fusion, Gillette Fusion Proglide, even Gillete Mach 3 Ultra. My conclusion is, there is no razor blade in the world better than Gillete Mach 3. Seriously... it gives me the smoother, closest shave of all, and it also lasts longer. Better that!
Shaving with the Gillette Mach3 blade is the second best thing after sex. A man prides himself in the time he has shaving and grooming himself. The Mach3 is a wonderful blade. It is package well and holds both the new and used blades quite well. The razor glides into the connection and provides a safe and secure alignment. This adds to the confidence of a close and smooth shave. If you really want to spoil yourself try a Gillette Mach3 today.
