It seems as if Gillette has decided to cheap out on the handle. My older Mach 3 got misplaced in a move so I picked up a new one. The new one seemed allot lighter and made out of plastic. I disliked it so much I spent 2-3 hours searching for my old one. I found it and Yes it is about 2-3 times heavier and made out of metal and not plastic. I guess the new Mach 3 has a "Premium Handle" in name only. Also, what happened to the Razor Tray that would store/hold the Razor and spare blades? It shaves alright but the handle now feels like just a cheap trial handle met to just try the blades out. It's not much better than you would find on a higher end disposable. The blades are fine, the handle is junk.
