I have used a few Gigastone SD cards over the years and never had a problem. This 256 GB card was different though. I took about 20 GB of photos at a wedding, attempted to download to my PC, and the card froze. DEAD CARD. The dreaded "this card is read-only" message. I work in IT, and my staff and I tried to resurrect the card, but nothing. We haven't even been able to retrieve the data. Card is completely defective, and here's the sad part: Gigastone Customer Service is doing absolutely nothing to rectify this. Or even just replace the card. After weeks and weeks of trying to contact them, I was finally successful! But they just keep asking BS questions about system info that I've already sent them. And I said I'd be willing to just have the card replaced - I can accept the data loss Unhappily. But Gigastone won't even respond. And we all know what useless crap Amazon's customer service is. So DO NOT buy this card. Bad qual y'all! Stick with SanDisk, Corsair, Toshiba, etc... I'll never buy a Gigastone Card again, and have directed my stuff to drop them from our supplier list and am letting clients know about this. Petty as it is. Sheesh! You'd think they could at least make an effort. one love, CDiddy
