the tooth cleaning benefits are great

i used to give my GSD greenies rarely, just when she had dog breath from eating god knows what on her walk. they are expensive, and so i saw no reason to give them to her every day. but as she got older, her teeth became stained, and she rally hates it when i brush her teeth. i can do it, but it is always a struggle. so last year,i started giving her one greenie every day, and the stains have mostly disappeared from her teeth. an older dog's quality of life can be very much affected by tooth decay, so i am glad to have found that greenies work so well to clean her teeth.

Received expired Greenies - beware of white worms

I usually do not write reviews, but I have to for this product to warn future buyers. Everyone please check your contents as I'm sure i'm not the first to report receiving expired Greenies. I have been giving my dogs 1 each daily once I received the treats and did not think to check the contents thoroughly. Today, when I opened the bag I see little white worms near the opening. I dump the entire contents out and to my shock, there's an infestation of these guys in the bag.
This is not ok so please vendors take extra time to not send out expired products, especially ones that are designed for consuming.
Consumers, please check all bags so that you will not have sick dogs on your hands.

The pooch loves Greenies but she eats almost anything and if I had to choose for something that lasts longer to knaw on and possibly keep teeth clean it is probably a rawhide or chewnola. The Greenies don't keep her occupied for long (but they aren't supposed to, I don't think). I don't know if they actually do anything for dental hygene either and are fairly expensive.

I love these treats for my dog however when I purchase them at PetsSmarts they come in a smaller size for my small dog. I thought these were the same size I am used to, but they were not. Now I have to brake them in half to give them to my dog. A hole one at this size would make my dog sick. This realization disappointed me. Other than that these are great treats and keep my pups mouth smelling fresh!

This is a great product but sometimes they are fresh and other times they are dried out and hard as a rock.

Dog loves them, but I can get dental treats from purina for a third of the price and dog loves them just as much.
but we had to quit giving them to her as her vet said they were like giving her an extra meal a day-she loves them ...

😡😡 purchased this bag of Greenies As I am putting them in her treat bowl they were full of bugs.. I almost gave it to her luckily I caught them before I have it to her. Very disappointing.

Dog loves them but eats them in like 10 seconds so I don't think they do anything for his teeth/breath

These were left outside for the afternoon and got pretty warm after being delivered. When I got home to bring them inside, I found that they had become quite soft and bendy. We ended up putting them in the freezer to try make them hard again but they would just get flimsy after coming out. Not very impressed with the quality of the treats. Plus they make our Black Lab very gassy.
