Basic cheaper priced rowing machine. A distinct, loud rubbing noise started after ten minutes of use. Also, the LCD screen stopped working after ten minutes. Changed batteries. Jiggled the chord that connects the machine to the screen. Nothing works. No word back from the company after some days now. Waaaaay too much of a hassle to return but it kinda works so I’ll hang on to it I guess :/
The rowing machine comes in large heavy box. It is preassembled and easy to complete the setup. The rowing machine sits pretty low to the ground compared to other machines. The foot pads are actually touching the ground at all times. The ten different tensions do not feel that different or difficult until you get to 7-10. It is not a fan operated rowing machine like at most gyms but rather a series of cords. The slide is angled down (you can see pictured in the ad). The downward angle makes for a different experience than a traditional rowing machine. The slide feels a tad short as well. This rowing machine is of good quality for the price point but not a traditional rowing machine. I feel like it will make for good long distance easy rows to build endurance but not so good for sprinting and power/stamina based workouts.
