5.0 out of 5 starsFrom 2 to 5 stars!
May 4, 2018
Manufactured in China. There was an overwhelming chemical smell from the diapers when first opened. I let them air out for weeks and they still smell a bit. Not sure if the smell is from the manufacturing process or from the ingredients. We have continued to use this bag of diapers. They do well keeping the poop in but the urine seems to leak through the front of the diaper making the outer surface wet to the touch. Once this bag is finished we will save our money next time.

***UPDATE***
After the owner contacted me, I decided to give these another try. She refunded my order and sent me a replacement for free. The replacement pack was normal, no chemical smell and held waste good. We are satisfied with these diapers and how the owner handled this. I am changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because of her attention to customer service. I wish there were more people with this type of generosity in the world.

2.0 out of 5 starsAndy Pandy vs Honest Diapers vs Naty vs Bambo
January 22, 2019
I did a lot of research on diapers and was determined to get the most chemical-free ones for our baby.

Andy Pandy seemed like the best option. I was willing to take the blame for poo spills out the side and overlook the night-time leaks in order to avoid chemicals. In the end, however, these diapers caused a diaper rash that just wouldn't go away. It seems the liner of the diaper, which sits on baby's skin, isn't effective in keeping baby dry. Just because it's made of aloe doesn't mean much. We went through probably about 12 packs of these.

Honest Diapers were flimsy. We didn't even get through a pack—they just weren't worth it.

Naty was interesting. I didn't mind the papery texture. BUT they leaked regularly at night, soaking baby's clothes and sheets. During the day they were fine, and they also kept poos in check (no spillage). I did find, however, for really big poos, the edges of the diapers seemed nearly saturated (again, papery texture...).

Bambo (the original version in the green, I haven't tried the white packaged one) have been the best. No leakage, no poo spillage, no diaper rash. Winner!

Also, I recommend TruKid eczema cream. That helped heal the very raw diaper rash that we had with the Andy Pandy diapers!

I really wanted to review these diapers to help out other parents who might like to try them but aren't sure about them. I lean more natural with most everything and I've used Naty by Nature diapers with my first baby since she was a newborn. They started to have quality issues so I knew when my second daughter was born, I had to find a new brand. I started with Babyganics then switched to these after about 4 months. The Babyganics brand was good but not good enough for overnight wear. They would hold up for about 8 hours and then leak peepee.. so I had to do a middle of the night diaper change right after a dream feed.. it wasnt fun. So i researched for a week for natural diapers with high absorbancy and comfy etc etc... i sampled 7th generation, honest, Amazon's brand all no way did those work. I was hesitant on purchasing these due to the price as they were actually my first choice before giving birth to my second. I thought no way am i spending that much money on diapers that probably won't work. I was wrong and wish i would've bought them sooner. Since switching to Andy Pandys, no night time leaks unless I dont put them on straight or forget to pull out the sides.. (squirmy 7 month olds). These are the best dang diapers in every sense. My daughter has hers on overnight for 12 hours.. shes breastfed and I co-sleep so she is nursing during the night...no leaks.. barely even damp on her bum.. huge diaper in the morning... amazing. No rashes or marks from them digging into her skin. I love these diapers. Try them.

Absolutely Terrible. The “bamboo” fibers get stuck to any areas of skin the diaper touches, and these diapers leak faster than Pampers, Huggies, Honest Co, Seventh Generation, Earth & Eden, and most any other luxury or inexpensive alternative. Most significantly, these diapers cause burns so bad, a doctor had to prescribe medication to keep the wounds from infection. These diapers contain harmful chemicals, not advertised, and only acknowledged when you contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer takes no responsibility whatsoever, and is completely unresponsive and unhelpful, regarding any concerns brought to their attention. They state that, although they manufacturer and profit from the sale of these diapers, any issue must be resolved by amazon. Absolutely horrid product, and heartless manufacturer.

5.0 out of 5 starsTotally worth the extra dough!

My son is two and a half months. Which means, it’s taken me two months to find a brand of diapers that works for him — not to mention, a stupid amount of money too.

My son has super sensitive skin. I was also in labor for 37 hours, receiving penicillin the entire time, so my gut flora was wiped out and now the little guy is prone to yeast rashes. We had Pampers by the closet full all ready for his arrival, but they immediately made him red (and stuck to him. What’s up with that netting?). Some friends of mine gifted us cholorine-free, corn/wheat diapers. Those didn’t breathe well. We also tried Pamper’s Pure, Kirkland/Costco diapers (which are Huggies), and Seventh Generation Free & Clear. Nothing worked to (1) keep the contents made to be inside a diaper, actually inside, (2) maintain breathability, and (3) keep his rashes in check. That’s when I did some digging and decided to try Andy Pandy.

From the get-go, I loved this diaper. My kid is in the 95th percentile in height but he’s only 24th for weight. I have a beanpole! Diapers seemed to sit just over his little butt crack yet barely make it around him (even though he was 5lbs under their top weight). The Andy pandy diapers are high-waisted. Whew! On top of that, they wrap around him and they are SO SOFT! That was my favorite part! Especially for such sensitive skin!

Beyond that, they definitely allow his area to breathe.

We ran out at some point and I ended up flipping back to try a few other diapers from these previous brands I mentioned. I hate them even more now. My Little instantly got red. So, I went on the Andy Pandy website and began a subscription (you’ll save a few bucks that way). Totally worth the extra dough, to keep my little guy from hurting anymore.

We loved the first few bags of Andy Pandys we got - soft and comfortable for baby. However, the most recent bag we got has an extremely strong chemical odor coming from the inside of the diaper - we do not want them on our baby's skin!

4.0 out of 5 starsI wish I could afford these!
January 10, 2017
Size: Newborn (Pack of 50)Verified Purchase
My son was born December of 2016 and I had plans to cloth diaper at around 3 weeks. I had everything all set to go and was discouraged with the thought of having to do more laundry than I was already doing. I decided cloth diapering was not for me and wanted a more natural approach to disposables. I've tried a lot of brands of diapers in his three weeks of life: I tried Pampers Swaddles (HORRIBLE chemical smell, almost made me vomit at the hospital and stank up my entire room), Honest CO (WAY too small even for size 1 on my newborn), Seventh Generation (felt almost like paper bags on the outside and also way too small for a size 1), Babyganics (smelled like chemicals but the fit was better), Bambo Nature (great diaper, love them) and on a pinch because I had run our of Andy Pandy...I had to use Huggies snugglers for a bit (worked well despite the very slight chemical smell to them). Andy Pandy Diapers had a great fit and have long tabs on the front that keep the diaper in place and not sliding down! They do run on the larger side compared to the average newborn size but I didn't mind. The diapers are very soft and not too thin but not too bulky either. The only reason it gets a 4 star is the price. I can get Bambo for 31 cents a diaper as opposed to 39 cents. The wet indicator is a nice feature but I change my baby very often so it doesn't really matter to me if it has it or not. IMO it's not worth the extra few cents per diaper especially with how many I'm going through a day.
If Andy Pandy eventually do a subscribe and save option on Amazon and go down to the 31 cent mark I would change over to them in a heartbeat! Having already an additional expense of diapers that I was originally trying to avoid by doing cloth Andy Pandy are definitely on the pricier side of disposables. They are biodegradable and if you have the extra money to spend- don't double guess these diapers. It's a great compromise to doing disposables but still trying to 'save the earth' if you will. Love Andy Pandy!

As another customer stated, we loved these daipers before but they have changed for the worse. They leak and the tabs come off too easily. The quality is NOT THE SAME and these daipers are too expensive for what you get now. I am returning these!!

5.0 out of 5 starsBest diapers ever!
August 1, 2017

Absolutely the best diapers we have bought!! I love how soft they are and are free of chemicals and perfumes. I have been searching for a diaper of this quality for a while and am so happy we found a winner. Next to cloth, these are the next best disposable diaper. I have 3 kids, ages 6, 3, and 1, and one on the way and wish we had found these diapers sooner. Looking forward to buying these for my newborn in the fall. Currently we are using the medium size Andy Pandy diapers with my 13 month old (about 22 lbs) but will be moving onto the large size next month. He has had diaper rash problems and chemical burns from all the big name brand and off brand diapers, even the organic and chlorine free advertised brands that you can find at babies r us. This is the only diaper that leaves his skin healthy and rash free, dry, and without any beads or residue. He doesn't have any marks from the stretchy leg parts or from the waist band because the material is so soft. I also like that every diaper has a wednes indicator bc the diapers are very absorbant and sometimes its hard to tell just by feel if they are wet. Thank you for such a great diaper!!!

We've tried everything under the sun as far as "alternative" diapers go. Once we stopped cloth diapering, I wanted/needed something as ethical as possible but that got the job done. And that didn't irritate my daughter's bum, which is easy to do. Almost every alternative diaper out there still irritated her, and none were very soft. I felt defeated, but then one day we found these! These are THE softest disposable diapers I have ever felt, don't irritate my sensitive daughter whatsoever, and not ONCE did we experience anything wrong/faulty about the diaper itself. My daughter is almost 2.5 now and has been diaper-free for 2 months, but I will forever and always recommend these to whoever is willing to shell out a little more money on 100% biodegradable, SOFT as can be, functional diapers. I have a friend that uses Bambo for her daughter, and these are hands-down 100X softer. I can't believe she ever wore anything besides these. Everything feels so awful and scratchy to me now! Do yourself a favor and stop going back and forth, just buy these!

5.0 out of 5 starsBest diapers for poop blowouts!!
August 6, 2019
Size: Small (Pack of 94)Verified Purchase
I love these diapers. Love them. My currently 3mos old daughter was having massive poop blow outs with every disposable diaper brand. I was so frustrated and cursing disposable diapers everyday, and was tempted to go back to cloth diapers bc I never had blow outs when I used them with my older son. I also felt incredibly guilty using disposable bc they dont decompose for at least 450yrs. Ugh. Not too mention all the freakin chemicals that are in diapers. I wanted something that was better for her skin, contained the blow outs, and better for the environment. So the search was on. I tried seventh generation, Huggies, pampers, Abby &Finn...you name it. I also tried a sample of Dyper bamboo diapers. They looked and felt like Andy Pandy diapers but were more expensive.
So thank you for making a bamboo diaper that’s super soft, extremely absorbent, and my daughter hasn’t had the slightest hint of diaper rash. I haven’t even used diaper creams! I’m a fan and I’ve been telling every mom I know about your product.
I love these diapers!

We did lots of research before deciding to try these diapers and I SO wanted to love them. Unfortunately, we had issues from the start.

I should mention we bought these to use at night since we use cloth diapers during the day and our daughter was leaking through at night. We had been using seventh generation with success but wanted to find something more eco friendly.

Unfortunately these diapers first ran large and although our daughter was the correct weight for the size we ordered, they were too big for weeks after we bought them. So I waited hopeful they would work well once she grew a little more. Unfortunately, she still leaked through when we tried again. It almost seems as though the pee permitted through the entire diaper.

We are truely bummed these didn’t work out for us.
