Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Water Flosser Professional Cordless Dental Oral Irrigator - 300ML Portable and Rechargeable IPX7 Waterproof 3 Modes Water Flosser with Cleanable Water Tank for Home and Travel, Braces & Bridges Care
At first I like the flosser. It was a little weak in power compared to the one I had for over a year. What I liked the best was the removeable water tank for filling and cleaning but, after 2 months the internal housing that holds the water tank on snapped off making it useless. Cheaply made!
Update: The seller is now offering a replacement flosser to me free in exchange for a 4 star rating. Will try another one and see how that goes. Update: Jan.31st 2019 I received the replacement flosser. I had less than 2 weeks of usage and it broke in the same place as the first one. The internal plastic that holds the tank on just snapped again.
UPDATE: Feb.3. 2019 BEWARE!! Seller offer me a refund if I just delete the one star and go back to 4 stars. Then they wanted my PayPal information. BEWARE!!
Chinese junk. Even the operations manual was written SO OBVIOUSLY by someone whose primary language isn't English. My comments are in no way a judgement on languages, but a legit business with a quality product and associated quality control processes would not have let this thing out the door. RETURNED PROMPTLY.
The instructions say to plug in for a minimum of 4 hours before initial use, so I did.
It charged fine the first time, and worked wonderfully for the first couple of weeks.
Then, the battery ran out of charge. I plugged it in again, but the charger is loose and easily slips out of position when plugged in. I quickly realized this and had to wrap the cord around a bottle and drape it across some items on my counter to get the correct position. I watched it for a while to ensure it was charging, and then left it to charge overnight.
When I went to use it again, the battery had no charge. It worked for a second or two and then turned off.
If I held the cord in at the correct angle for several minutes while praying to the gods of oral hygiene, I could get a few more seconds of use.
All in all, a horrible product that craps out easily.
Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless I had a personal vendetta against their teeth.
Wow. I never leave reviews. I don't know how this item is to benefit anyone. It's messy and ineffective. It doesn't do anything that a toothbrush doesn't do. It doesn't go any where that floss can. It doesn't rinse anymore than a manual mouth rinse. It just splashes, makes noise and a mess. What a scam. Someone marketed this thing real good. I drank the koolaid and used it for several week off an on and missed my return window. Now I'll have to sell it on "let go" or something. Wack. $40. What a waste. I found much better use with the little plastic tooth pick brushes that look like tiny christmas trees. Perfect for getting in between that last molar and adjoining tooth where flossing threatens to unseat my cap. The water pick is perfect for accidentally squirting the mirror and the walls. It's great at that. Everybody wants to wipe down the bathroom wall and mirror in the middle of cleaning their teeth. Do NOT believe the hype about water picks. Yikes. I gave it one star too many.
I bought this oral irrigator based on the reviews (not perfect but still decided to give it a try given it’s price level...). The first two weeks it worked fine. In third week, it started having problem with the control panel. The On/Off button was out of control, and sometimes it will switch on by itself, kind of spooky in the middle of the night... I have decided to put it to the return box. The positive side was its design.
Purchased 2 first one missing parts 2nd Stopped working 40 days after purchase motor just kept running and on off switch would not work. Will see how manufacture handles it. Slightly bulky to handle but works for home. Don’t think would travel with it. Someone from company tried to get me to remove comments. Said if I removed comments would shop out a replacement ! Really if they had shipped one I would have no issues but tried to bully me into removing comments immediately and would then shop another one ! Sad this could have been resolved but this makes 3 bad experience 2 with the units and now the type of customer service trying to get me to remove valid comments. Even if this is an isolated incident could have been resolved differently.
Our problem with the Water Flosser Professional Cordless Dental Oral Irrigator is that the water nozzle would not detach easily from the unit after 6 weeks of use. Pressing the release button did not disengage the nozzle and we had to twist and turn the nozzle to get it off. That was not an easy or pleasant experience. We attempted to further depress the release button but now the nozzle won't seat into the base. So the unit is useless. Agree with other reviewers who complain about the on/off button and the setting button which may surprise you with an unexpected water stream that may target any corner of the room or anyone else who may be in or around the room you are in! Best used in the shower! During it's brief working period it did a good job of cleaning between the teeth except for errant water sprays. Will try for a refund.
Update 2-22-19: After emailing the seller regarding the product failure they responded within 24 hours and issued a full refund, no questions asked. Five stars for the seller. Thank you!
Product worked fine for a few weeks. Charged it Friday morning, then the whole thing got hot and stayed hot and now it won't charge or turn on. I was out of town and didn't have internet access. I come to check the order details Sunday and its one day after the automatic return by date. Lucky me. I paid $40 for a junk water pic
Got this as a BD gift as my daughter was getting her braces. It appears that something is wrong. She opened it and we filled it with water went to add the correct tip and it would not go in. It appears there is something stuck in it...not sure. I will be contacting the company for a refund or replacement.
