Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Water Flosser Professional Cordless Dental Oral Irrigator - 300ML Portable and Rechargeable IPX7 Waterproof 3 Modes Water Flosser with Cleanable Water Tank for Home and Travel, Braces & Bridges Care
The instructions say to plug in for a minimum of 4 hours before initial use, so I did.
It charged fine the first time, and worked wonderfully for the first couple of weeks.
Then, the battery ran out of charge. I plugged it in again, but the charger is loose and easily slips out of position when plugged in. I quickly realized this and had to wrap the cord around a bottle and drape it across some items on my counter to get the correct position. I watched it for a while to ensure it was charging, and then left it to charge overnight.
When I went to use it again, the battery had no charge. It worked for a second or two and then turned off.
If I held the cord in at the correct angle for several minutes while praying to the gods of oral hygiene, I could get a few more seconds of use.
All in all, a horrible product that craps out easily.
Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless I had a personal vendetta against their teeth.
Wow. I never leave reviews. I don't know how this item is to benefit anyone. It's messy and ineffective. It doesn't do anything that a toothbrush doesn't do. It doesn't go any where that floss can. It doesn't rinse anymore than a manual mouth rinse. It just splashes, makes noise and a mess. What a scam. Someone marketed this thing real good. I drank the koolaid and used it for several week off an on and missed my return window. Now I'll have to sell it on "let go" or something. Wack. $40. What a waste. I found much better use with the little plastic tooth pick brushes that look like tiny christmas trees. Perfect for getting in between that last molar and adjoining tooth where flossing threatens to unseat my cap. The water pick is perfect for accidentally squirting the mirror and the walls. It's great at that. Everybody wants to wipe down the bathroom wall and mirror in the middle of cleaning their teeth. Do NOT believe the hype about water picks. Yikes. I gave it one star too many.
I bought this water flosser because of the reviews. Well I must have bought the one made on a Friday at 3p:/. The first 2 days I used it was kicking butt. Then on day 3 during use, it went to half the water pressure and no real cleaning results. I recharged it just to make sure it wasn’t me. Tried it again and no joy to be found.
I bought this oral irrigator based on the reviews (not perfect but still decided to give it a try given it’s price level...). The first two weeks it worked fine. In third week, it started having problem with the control panel. The On/Off button was out of control, and sometimes it will switch on by itself, kind of spooky in the middle of the night... I have decided to put it to the return box. The positive side was its design.
I received this item on Monday. Tuesday I washed the reservoir in preparation of my first use and dried it out. Wednesday I charged it, used once and dried out. Upon drying it, I noticed that there are white specks in the reservoir. I’m not sure if it’s mold. Maybe there is a design flaw that allows water to get into a small crack in the reservoir. Or maybe this is something else that I didn’t notice when I pulled the reservoir out of the box. But I can’t reach it to clean or further examine. I only got to use this item once and thought I might like it so one star for that. I purchased two of these, one as a gift, but will return both.
Update: My boyfriend opened his up and similar spots are on that one as well. He thinks it’s glue and is fine with it. So I will only return one.
Purchased 2 first one missing parts 2nd Stopped working 40 days after purchase motor just kept running and on off switch would not work. Will see how manufacture handles it. Slightly bulky to handle but works for home. Don’t think would travel with it. Someone from company tried to get me to remove comments. Said if I removed comments would shop out a replacement ! Really if they had shipped one I would have no issues but tried to bully me into removing comments immediately and would then shop another one ! Sad this could have been resolved but this makes 3 bad experience 2 with the units and now the type of customer service trying to get me to remove valid comments. Even if this is an isolated incident could have been resolved differently.
Purchased this in Jan/2019 and about 4 months of typical usage, it is broken because water got into the unit. I think there are flaws in the design that allow water to get into the unit (Or maybe the one I purchased was no good(?)). Anyhow, water can get into the unit through where you replace the jet tips and other place is where water tank is connected. When this happens, you can hear water inside if you shake the flosser. If water gets into the top section (jet tip area), you can swing the flosser upside down to get rid of water but if water gets into the bottom part (where battery and electric circuit is), you cannot get rid of the water and it will ruin the flosser. I just got curious so I opened the flosser and quite bit of water came out from the bottom section (after removing 3 screw) and of course, battery/electric circuit were all wet. I dried the inside with paper towels and tried to use it, but no luck :(. However, top section no water came out since i got rid of it by swing the flosser but I could see brownish stuff(?) that you see when water dries up.
Good product as far as cleaning. Product design is just ok. Easy to accidentally change power settings while in use. Within first week little door for filling water popped off hinge and thankfully landed on floor instead of going down sink. I like the reservoir size better and strength of jet compared to last one I had for about 3 years but now leary the the reservoir door may pop off again and get lost on this.
I bought this product months ago when I needed a replacement for my corded huge waterpix. I opted out for this because of the higher ratings. I meant to returned it after the first use but it just ended up store away in my closet. I decided to open it again months later and it’s still just as awful. The lowest soft setting is extremely painful and sharp. This is meant to clean through steal not gums!! It’s a huge mess all over and my gums are bleeding. It’s so messy I just transferred myself to the tube. Don’t buy.
