I used them for the first time today and I am already returning them. They rolled for nearly every exercise, but thats not even my main reason for the return. I am returning because I cant stand the smell!! It has been on my body all day even after showering and washing my hands several times. Its making me sick to my stomach. I am going to order from a brand that is non-latex and hope I don't have the same issue. Though I am returning, I gave 2 stars since they still felt pretty strong and the resistance was good when they weren't rolling.
I bought these as I wanted more variety in my fitness bands. However, these bands do not fit my needs at all. The lightest band is TOO light so I'll never use it. The black band, which is the heaviest, is not heavy enough. Also, I wear shorts 99% of the time when I'm working out. When these are on my legs or thighs, they constantly are rolling up and do not stay in place well at all. I can double loop the bands for more resistance, but I was looking for bands that had less stretch than these do. I honestly will not repurchase and most likely end up tossing them in the trash.
These were great at first, but they have started to warp after a few weeks of use. Especially the black one, which is getting narrow/thin spots and looks like it might not last much longer. The logo is peeling off of them also, and little tiny bits of white paint are getting everywhere when I use them. I'm not using them in any extreme way, either, just normal use on an almost daily basis.
Three months into using these bands, they just get worse. They roll and ride up. I try to double band them and they stick together, making it difficult to keep up with my workout. Once they roll up, I have to pause my workout because it takes so much time to get them flat again. Not to mention, getting them into that little bag is quiet the feat. There isn't an easy way to slide them in since the suction together upon touching.
The bands work. That is, until they tear. 3 out of 5 bands have torn, one in multiple spots. These are clearly not meant to ACTUALLY be used. I use them as part of my functional bodybuilding regimen, and so they really get used. These would be good for people in recovery only. For people actually using these in training (ITY's is what I did mostly. I have a bum shoulder from my job, so I use the black one for overhead pressing), I assume there are "crossfit rated" ones that would stand up significantly better. Because, frankly, these are kind of a joke. Do yourself a favor if looking for a training set of bands, and buy something else. These will not last more than a few weeks of consistent use.
I was really excited when I first started using these bands. However, after a few weeks of using them and carting them around to the gym, I found that they are not as durable as I would have liked them to be. The bands are hard to slip on because of the rubber material and because of how thin they are, they constantly ride up on your legs or roll up into a thin piece of rubber instead of staying in its original form. Also, one of my bands started sticking to itself and became impossible to untangle when I would try to use it, so now its pretty much useless. Not to mention that the sizing-text on the bands eventually rubs off so I had to constantly refer back to the sizing paper, until I eventually misplaced it. Overall, I learned my lesson. Get resistance bands that are made of CLOTH not rubber.
This package came with bands from very light to very heavy, which was nice. However, they are not very wide and when stretched they fold over in half. One of them sticks to itself when it folds over. Also, they are painful because they dig into your leg or arm when they fold over because they are so narrow. I am returning them.
I bought these as I am on an extended traveling experience. I have had this product for about 7 months and one of the bands started tearing and is no longer usable. Fit Simplify support was understanding and said that they would issue a refund. Unfortunately, I can't replace the product because I am traveling and the shipping costs are too high. I do like the product when it worked and I used it 4 or 5 times a week but it really didn't last very long. For most people, this won't be as big of an issue as it will be easier to get a replacement if you are already in an Amazon delivery area.
Right off the bat, all I can say is that the smell is just awful. These have a VERY strong odor of rubber that I, personally, cannot stand. I tried washing them to no avail. The smell would even linger on me after using them. To help the air-out process I stored them out of the bag on a window ledge. Not sure if it was the sun exposure, but one day I went to use one and it just snapped. Grabbed another and it did the same thing. Even the heaviest one snapped when my boyfriend stretched it. I gave it two stars instead of one since they worked fine until they broke. But overall, no good.
Not happy with these. I just starting using them and they roll all the time. I first thought itscuz I was using too light off of band, switched to heavier and they all roll. A couple of them also leaves a white residue on my gym pants. I'll keep using them even tho they hurt a bit.
